Vaporeon or Slowbro?

I'm not sure which one I should pick for my team. Both have good special attack and high HP, but vaporeon has even more HP and sp. attack, while being faster as well. But slowbro also gains STAB from psychic and has more defense.

This will just be for in game, not link up battles... I'm leaning towards Vaporeon though, I plan to have Snorlax on my team, so I don't know if I want another slow pokemon.

For ingame stick with Vaporeon - Surf+Ice Beam+good HP is a winning mix.

I have to go with slowbro,a good move set for a slowbro would be,psychic,curse,ice beam and ''your choice''

using curse,lowering speed and raising defence etc. will make slowbro basically immune to all attacks,then a psychic and ice beam combo will wipe out all who stand in it's way,IMO snorlax should be withdrawn from your team.

imo snorlax is an excellent pokemon choice.

imo I'd use surf on slowbro for STAB long before I used ice beam.

Imo I wouldn't use curse without a physical move

Slowbro has higher defense and a more varied movepool.

Also in GSC bite is not a physical move since it's a DARK move.

There are no abilities in GSC and Vaporeon is very slow, actually. Not as slow as, well, slowbro, but still not exactly fast either. :/

1 - Better movepool (and when I say better I mean WAY better, especially in the offensive regard)
2- Higher Defense and uncommon defensive weaks (Bug and Ghost lol)
3- Decent HP and okay special defense make for a lot of staying power
4- Enough special attack to take advantage of, especially with STAB
