I do not want to breed Pokemon just to get the perfect Pokemon.
I just included the natures so you could have some idea of the stats, not so you could reccomend what to change it to. I know I have to dump Beautifly. I will replace it with Absol or Glalie, probably. And where am I supposed to get all those Leftovers? This is In-Game, not NetBattle! Also, this is a team for the E4, not for challenging the Battle Frontier or for battling my friends.

Oops... Forgot to remove that line. *edits post*

Sky Uppercut is 90% accurate. What's so bad about that? You can use Brick Break over Sky Uppercut if you choose, although Sky Uppercut is better off in the long run.

5% boost items and hax items are useless. The only items you should consider using are:

Leftovers
Choice Band
Lum Berry
Petaya Berry
Liechi Berry (Good luck getting that, it's on Mirage Island)
Salac Berry

Substitute is one of the best moves in the game, as it blocks statuses and other stuff, such as confusion, attraction, ghost curse, and Leech Seed.

Oh, and you should change the natures, as your Pokemon will be better off with the natures I suggested. For example, with Skarmory, Modest (+SAtk, -Atk) nature does absolutely no good for it because it lowers its Attack stat (which it uses) and raises Special Attack (which is not needed and bad enough as it is). The best nature for Skarmory is Impish (+Def, -SAtk) because it raises its monstrous Defense stat even higher and reduces its Special Attack stat, which is useless.

Oh, and you get all the Leftovers in the Battle Frontier.

Phanpy, you shouldn't suggest custom HPs in-game...

I don't want to change Pokemon(except Beautifly).
Please advise my Pokemon on moves only.

Oh, and you get all the Leftovers in the Battle Frontier.
I HAVE NOT BEAT THE ELITE FOUR YET!!!!!
That is what I need help doing. I don't need advice on what would be the best movesets generally, only what would work the best against the Emerald E4.
I have access to several Leftovers. I could trade them over from XD and Ruby and FR.
I know those items suck. Hmm...where would I get a Choice Band? Oh. Colosseum. Duh..
Again, I reiterate that I would prefer not to breed.

The best nature for Skarmory is Impish (+Def, -SAtk) because it raises its monstrous Defense stat even higher and reduces its Special Attack stat, which is useless.
Didn't I tell you I'd rather not breed or get new Pokemon?
All of my Pokemon have decent natures, although not the best.
What level does Electrode learn Explosion at?

Beautifly is a sucky pokemon
Then give me a better one!

You've obviously missed the point of team rating. The point of team rating is to give movesets that work all-around, not just for one thing like the Elite Four.

Again, I reiterate that I would prefer not to breed.

You'll need to, and you'll find out that it's inevitable.

All of my Pokemon have decent natures, although not the best.

Not really. Your Skarmory and Electrode's natures are absolutely terrible.

ok, you want a better bug poke than Beautifly? Well, you haven't beat the E4 so why not Ninjask?

Ninjask@leftovers
Nature: Jolly
EV's: Don't worry. ingame
Swords Dance
Substitute
Silver Wind/ Aerial Ace
Baton Pass

Metallic Mantis, Reborn
28th November 2005, 11:30 AM
I agree with Phanphy, but because im an allout offensive guy, id do
Ninjask@shell bell
Nature:Hasty
Sword Dance
Slash
Silver WInd
Substitute
Hasty ups its already considerable speed, but lowers its attack. sword dance ups it back up, slash for power, and silver wind rarely for desperate situations.Substitute then allows ninjask to dish out whilst not taking any in return

Air Dragon

Okay... stuck on Phoebe, hunh? Try the followin moveset changes (in italics)

Team:
Snapples the Blaziken (Jolly)
I:Shell Bell/Focus Band (perhaps)
Flamethrower (better accuracy)
Brick Break
Slash
Mirror Move/Rock Tomb

Salah-aDin the Skarmory (Modest)
I:Quick Claw
Steel Wing
Spikes
Air Cutter/Sandstorm
Maybe Return

Pinchly the Flygon (Lonely)
I:Blackglasses
Crunch
[Giga Drain
Dragon Claw
Earthquake (pls spell in full!)

VOLTEKKA the Electrode (Quiet)
I:Magnet
Rollout
Rain Dance (with Volbeat's thunder)/ Explosion (only in a pinch and never against Phoebe)
Swift (Won't work against Phoebe)
Thunderbolt

Giles the Gardevoir (Relaxed)
(Frankly a bad idea against the elite in my humble opinion. Try Shiftry with the moveset below.)
I:Twistedspoon
Shock Wave
Psychic
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball

Poddles the Beautifly (Quiet)
[(If you're attached, try the new moveset below. if you can spare a few thoughts, try the Volbeat below.)
I:Miracle Seed
Silver Wind
Aerial Ace (would have been better.)
Morning Sun
Giga Drain

You can also try the following in place of Gardevoir and Beautifly:

Shiftry @ Twisted Spoon
Extrasensory (No good vs Phoebe)
Faint Attack
Solar Beam
Giga Drain

Volbeat @ Magnet
Signal Beam
Thunder
Tail Glow (before Thunder)
Double Edge (if you're daring)/ Moonlight.

Later!

Infinite Master Sceptile

Thanks, Phanpy. Ninjask would definitely work. But I'm training up Anorith, so the final spot will hold Armaldo!
And I don't want to replace Gardevoir. I already use Shiftry on Ruby.
Aerial Ace is better than Air Cutter due to accuracy.
I trained hard with these Pokemon. I am asking for help with Pokemon movesets. I don't want snobs berating me with arguments that I have to breed to defeat the E4. Frankly, I'm a sort of naturalist when it comes to raising Pokemon. I've never seen a point in breeding moves, though now I see that I might have to when the BF comes around.
But I asked for help, not criticism. chaos592, you have said nothing but rude things to me.

You've obviously missed the point of team rating. The point of team rating is to give movesets that work all-around, not just for one thing like the Elite Four.
Where else would I get help from the pros? The people in the RSE discussion forum are often mostly n00bs, so I can't go there.

Me saying rude things to you? You need to get your eyes checked. You should reread your post you made in Brute Root's thread.

When you ask for help here, you should expect criticism. If you can't take criticism, then don't post in RMT.
