I started with a sp atk psychic blissey (instead of seismic toss) and it did ok as it could cure the team, poison the enemy and tank it while lowering its sp def for another to finish it, now trying the seismic toss.
Armaldo as my rapid spinner is getting dusted as I barely use it and when I do its because im running out of pokemon xD.
Jolteon I put it inside as a hybrid attacker/agility batton passer. I know he is frail and so his roles are mainly two abuse his volt absorb and baton pass the agility to my dragonite attacking only when its necesary.
The raindance boosts kingdra so he can act as a sweeper

However I do know that this team needs lots of work :(, as Im getting problems with psychic pokemon (tried a houndoom as a replacement for armaldo but dont ask how it fared xD ) and with substitutes =/.

Sideboard: aka other pokemon im considering as replacements, could add others but Im not really sure.

Celebi @ Leftovers

EVs: 100 HP / 53 Def / 252 Spd / 53 SAtk / 52 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Leech Seed

*Changed Blisseys EVs and move set to toxic, seismic toss, aromatherapy and softboiled

*Ditched Kingdra for

Metagross @ Leftovers

EVs: 85 HP / 85 Atk / 85 Def / 85 Spd / 85 SAtk / 85 SDef
Hardy Nature (Neutral)
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Sludge Bomb

*Changed Skarmorys evs and swaped toxic with rest (kept the left overs for skarmory to be awakened by celebi)

*Changed Jolteons moveset to hidden power grass, batton pass, substitute and thunderbolt

Thx for your comments, now Im going to net battle xD

Plz keep the comments/suggestions coming as I do need as much help as possible :)

On a quick note after defeating a legendary team with around 86% strenght (mine has 66%) i noticed that:
I think it was a mistake adding metagross since I already have skarmory and skarm has very different functions than him, so I think im changing it to alakazam or machamp, but again im not sure about who can take its place
I do rely a lot on blissey and Im scared to switch toxic over thunderwave xD. And now that I removed jolteons ability to baton pass agility, Im thinking of ditching him for a much better substitute baton passer:
Umbreon@Leftovers
Bold: 252 HP, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def
Wish
Baton Pass
Substitute
Toxic
Maybe with this I can finally remove blisseys thunderwave

And so, my team looks like this:
Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 100 HP / 53 Def / 252 Spd / 53 SAtk / 52 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Leech Seed
- Psychic
- Recover

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 6 SDef
Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Focus Punch
- Ice Beam
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Toxic

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Def / 60 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Umbreon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Wish

Not listing metagross because Im thinking about replacing it. any suggestions?

That Blissey needs Thunder Wave>Toxic. It's great for shutting down anything fast like CBmences. Also give Umbreon Curse>Toxic to pass curses to Metagross. Check out www.smogon.com for evs for metagross.

* Ditched Celebi for a suggested Starmie
* Swapped Blissey's Toxic/Aromatherapy for Thunderwave/Heal bell.
I need a heal beller, althought aromatherapy is slighty better =/
* Ditched Metagross for gengar.
Even that I havent found gengar useful many times, when he is useful he really kicks ***. So, the role of saving blissey of fighting attacks/explosions is now divided between skarmory and gengar.
* Edited dragonite's moveset. I will miss focus punch but I need a earthquaker and not having bolt beam surely makes things harder.

So now, my team looks like this
Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Surf
- Thunderbolt

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 6 SDef
Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Beam
- Brick Break

Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Dark]
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Heal Bell
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Def / 60 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes

Umbreon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Wish

I think it is now getting solid, however I have to test it at net battle ;)

urm heal bell and aroma do the same thing, yet aroma isn't blocked by soundproof pokemon

SPhoenix

hmm I may be wrong, but heal bell doesnt seems to cure confusion and aromatherapy does.
Besides, aromatherapy is only for the user, and heal bell for the whole party

No arometherapy heals the whole party as well.

lol adamant bliss.

SPhoenix

and your suggestion is.. ?

Fluorescent Adolescent
2nd December 2005, 11:24 PM
Bold. It needs maximum defense and doesn't need SP defence as it is already high enough for special sweepers :/

shoe pilot

maxing sp.def(with nature)reduces Alakazam psychics by a WHOLE FIVE PERCENT!

*edited my Blissey and now it looks like this

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ;242;
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Heal Bell
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave

Didnt chose bold because that nature reduces atk. Chosed impish because it reduces sp atk and I dont have any sp atks.
Edited the EVs.

I think that covers everything from my blissey :).
What about the others?

It only neeeds 212 HP EVs/252 Defence/46 Sp. Defence?.

Why wouldn't you use Bold? It has no attacks based on the stats. Heal Bell or Aromatherapy is the same, only Heal Bell doesn't affect Soundproof pokemon.

aipomkong
3rd December 2005, 12:13 PM
1) seismic toss doesn't go on attack stat it'll do 100 damage each turn as it goes by levels

2) AROMA AND HEAL BELL ARE THE SAME THING EXCEPT AROMA ISN'T *** RAPED BY SOUNDPROOF

SPhoenix
3rd December 2005, 3:36 PM
Somehow I forgot swapping heal bell for aromatherapy >>.
Anyways, ty for the seismic toss information. And based in that I can say that in this blisseys moveset Bold is equal to Impish, since it has no attacks that are based on stats.

And so, finally my team looks like this.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Surf
- Thunderbolt

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Def / 60 SDef

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Dark]
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aromatherapy
- Seismic Toss
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 6 SDef

Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Wish

And from my experience in Net battle I can say that the team is pretty solid. However I often find some stuff very hard to beat, like: slakings, metagross, salamences and snorlaxes, but I guess those are just tough =P
