Can a Admin please change my username? The name-change thread is closed..

Sorry if I sound like a n00b. I just want to change my username because it is bothering me. If your an admin, please post. I want my name to be changed to Uryuu, please.

If admin cannot do this, its fine with me. Just tell me if you can or not.

Actually, Ive only seen a couple threads of people asking for name changes, and most of them are asking "Where can you change your name".

Anyways, who cares. It's over. Just let this one die like the rest unless a mod/admin has something to say.

Explaining myself to you would be a waste of time, but I love a good challenge and have nothing better to do ^_^ Here we go...

The fact that it may have been closed for a reason crossed my mind, which is why I advise you to wait. No I am not an admin just as you are not anyone whose opinions I actually care about. No one ever asked why the name change thread was closed-to my knowledge-everyone just said "The Name change thread is closed!" and resorted to asking for name changes in different threads.

I'll let the mods handle this now, I'm done *heads to modship discussion*

I believe it was closed down due to Shining Mew being FAR to busy, or something around those lines.

Good god, this is the second thread I've seen on this recently.

Shining Mew does ALL the name changes, and she has school and a LIFE.

If the thread is closed, that means you can NOT GET YOUR NAME CHANGED until it is open again. She will open it when she has the time to change all the names.

And yes, "The admins are busy so I'm not going to PM them, I'm just going to make a thread whining about how my name sucks so an admin should change it." Nice.

Yes, the name change thread is closed until Shining Mew returns or another Admin continues there.

The name change hack, in my opinion shouldn't be applied, due to the fact that we have too many users, and people could just go about changing their name constantly all the time.

Vulpix, just be patient, and someone will get around to it eventually. There are a lot of other users waiting too, and it'd be quite unfair if an admin did it for you, but not the rest.

Edit: One more thing, I expect to not have to close this thread, 'cause I feel that this discussion is either over, and/or that if it does continue, it can be done in an acceptable manner. Don't prove me wrong...

Iirc it can be modified so there's a limit on how often you can change it.
But I guess Joerebii would rather not let anyone change their name and have topics like this erupt instead of installing it and solving the whole thing :/

Pretty much everyone has given you your answer, I don't flame so let me just say, Once Shining Mew returns you may have a chance but for no you'll have to just deal with the name you have
