Hmmm, maybe I will do one of these things...A starter and a Fighting Pokemon sounds better...I know I would get Totodile for starter...Then I would get a Shiny TyrougeDo you have to save before you get the egg, or can you after?

i just beat the elite four with only one pokemon.that pokemon was umbremon with quick attack, pychic, bite, and moon light at lvl 62.
The Power Of Shinys, you must saved OUTSIDE the DayCare on Route 34 before you get the egg.
Simple really.
1. Save on Route 34
2. Enter DayCare and get egg
3. Bike around Goldenrod City until egg hatches. Never save while doing this.
4. When it hatches, see what it is. If it is a Pokemon you like, keep it. If it's not the one you want, reset and enter the DayCare to get another egg.
Kthleen, there's a 14% Chance of the egg hatching into a Shiny. So you can get a cool Shiny! There are better chances than getting one in the wild.
Pokemon you can get are:
Tyrogue
Igglybuff
Pichu -
Cleffa -
Magby
Elekid
Smoochum
Whatever the Pokemon is, it'll come with
Dizzy Punch.
Progress:.
Raised Croconaw to level 30 so it evolved.
Raised Cleffa to level 30 but it didn't evolve... -_-
"I get the feeling that it really trusts you." Yeah, right!

Thanks Cherry Espeon! I am gonna start my journey now, I will edit when somthing importnat happens...
I've decided to restart my Crystal game when I get back to it. Currently, it's fourth in line for the games I'll be playing most of the time, since I'm finishing up Ruby, I'll work on my pokedex on LeafGreen, and I'll work on training for the Elite 4 on Sapphire. My poor Emerald game has to wait a while before I even start it.
Celebrating 15 years of Pokemon, now through December 2013

~Battled Rival
~Defeated Rival

~Said his name was Kamon
~Gave Birch Mystery Egg
~Got Pokeballs

Now I'm hatching for a Shiny Sentret.

We beat Cal again, the E5 twice or thrice again, and Blue. All between, we did a little training in Victory Road, but now we have a better spot: in and outside Mt. Silver. Raspberry and AutumnLeaf are L81, meaning I'm probably going to try to train them to at least L86 before we challenge Red. I also discovered that Rasp gets 20884 exp. points and AL gets 21164 from beating the E5, and that totals 42048. They as-of-yet normally need less than 20000, but no doubt they'll need that much very soon. Saved right inside Mt. Silver. 46:33 logged.
Current stats:
Raspberry @Nevermeltice
Furret - L81
HP: 274
Atk: 176
Def: 172
SpA: 124
SpD: 140
Spd: 211
AutumnLeaf @Miracle Seed
Meganium - L81
HP: 268
Atk: 209
Def: 231
SpA: 193
SpD: 221
Spd: 205
If you were wondering about MEW CAVE and MEW WATER:
@nothing
Mew - L8
HP: 36
Atk: 22
Def: 22
SpA: 21
SpD: 21
Spd: 22
CAVE: Cut, Strength, Flash, Rock Smash
WATER: Fly, Surf, Whirlpool, Waterfall
So after restarting to try a game with Chikorita I got to Bugsy. He beat my team of Bayleef level 22 and Magikarp level 18 so I decided to train a little outside of Union Cave. Easily beat Bugsy with Bayleef level 23 and Gyarados level 20. Now to go through the forest and beat my rival.
Pokemon Diamond FC: 5412 6398 7157
You can find me in the shadows.
Righto, blighters. Here's what's been called upon.
Last Savepoint: I can never remember and too lazy to look up.
Current: Just beat E4. Standing at my house door and haven't moved.
Sp. Events: Caught Ho-oh. Disappointed that my army of 4 Sacred Ashes cannot be used during battle with E4.
Team:
Miltank@Amulet Coin L46
Milk Drink
Body Slam
Defence Curl
Rollout
Typhlosion@Charcoal L47
Strength
Quick Atk
T-punch
Fl. Wheel
*sigh* Typhlosion fades in comarison to Miltank. Miltank is god. I swear. It took on and defeated Bruno by itself. Being L44, I think. Godly, eh?
Kthleen, I had my fill of French in Quebec and Montreal so now I stop. Au revoir. *hurls*
Gold: Is currently in Blacktorn at the eight gym. After battling a random trainer in the gym, my Togepi finally evolved into a Togetic. Togetic is at level 27. Right now I'm battling a Dragonair with my level 40 Typhlosion.

Why everybody uses typholosion his the worse choice agaisnt clair (hit clair kingdra with flame wheel)
After losing to Clair, I decided to put Togetic back into Bill's computer seing as the only "attacking" move it can use is metronome, and it is too random to trust. I also put my Haunter back in the computer. Currently training a Sentret and a Nidorina for no reason...

1. Named myself Gold and my rival Silver
2. Chose Cyndiquil as my starter
3. Caught a Sentret and picked up the egg
4. Caught a Belsprout
5. Defeated Falkner at the first gym where my Cyndiquil evolved to Quiliva
6. Got to Azalea town and I cleared slowpoke well
7. Sentret evolved in the Slowpoke Well
8. Challenged Bugsy and won
9. Arrived at Goldenrod and picked up a bike
10. Entered the bug catching Contest, won first place and recieved a sun stone, by catching a lvl 14 Scyther
11. The egg hatched
12. Beat Whitney in the gym
13. Caught a Sudowoodoo and Recieved an Eevee
14. Beat Morty at the fourth gym
Well, let me enlighten you:Why everybody uses typholosion his the worse choice agaisnt clair (hit clair kingdra with flame wheel)
-Typhlosion was OFFICIALLY announced as the starter with which it is easiest to beat the game.
-Typhlosion can counter its weaknesses (Water-tpunch, Rock-EQ, etc)
-Typhlosion is easy to use, unlike Meganium.
-What idiot Flame Wheels Kingdras? That's why he learns tpunch. Which successfully kills kingdra. You will need some potions, but it can do it.
-Typhlosion Makes battles short (compare to Meganium) and has stab in its best atk stat (Fire-Special atk. Unlike Fera: Water type, dominant atk stat - physical)
There.
No updates on either v., but I tried to get Megados again. No luckShould have kept the other one.
Gold: Evolved Sentret. Withdrew Haunter from Bill's PC and went to the ice cave and caught a Jynx.
Edit: Raikou appeared while I was training Jynx a while ago, it got away, but now that I've seen it, I can track down the overgrown cat with my pokedex.

109% fine with me.Originally Posted by shadowlink
Unlike Meganium? Maybe it's because I had a choice between only him and my low defenses Furret, but I didn't find that hard to use even with Iron Tail.
Friggin' Iron Tail.
How does it make battle any shorter than Meganium? Gah, my easy time with one is probably due to the fact that he was always four or more levels above his opponent, though....

Ah, being rash again, just like with the E5, has led me to a narrow victory, this time at 5:29 am with 46 hours and 48 minutes of gameplay. Rasp and AL were L81 when we went to fight Red. I was right when I thought that Snorlax was the one to worry about. At least it used Rest only once, but it kept using Body Slam to paralyze AL. But we beat him! Both are currently L83, and I'm training for the E5. Raspberry needed a total of 20917 exp points to L84, and AL needed 22697. 47:33 logged.
While training Jynx at the same route I found Raikou yesterday, I found Entei, it fled of course. I'm still training Jynx and she is currently at level 30.
