Official "How Rare/How Much Is My Card Worth" Thread

So long story short I have a number of Japanese Pokemon cards that I am looking to sell. All of them are sparkly or foil or whatever. I was just wondering, is there any market over here for Japanese cards? If I wanted to sell them are they collectible or would I be better off putting it up as an interest sale?

I mearged your thread with this one so the post order might look strange. As for your question, some Japanese cards have great value here. But it's mostly just promos that have any real value.

All of the cards have at least foil backgrounds to the art and most of it is sparkly foil. Not sure how to classify them but:

Jirachi. Bottom logo says Pt2.
Torterra logo is a flower, or a falling star? x2
Darkrai logo says Promo. From a movie maybe?
Darkrai Logo says DP3
Gastrodon (blue). DP3
Jumpluff . Logo is a red box with a white L1 written in it.
Weedle Whole card is shiny. L1.
Froslass Pt4
Luxray Pt4 x2
Staraptor Frontier Brain. Pt3
Luxray Pt5
Rampardos DP2
Probopass DP5
Zapdos Pt3 Whole card has foil sparkles all over it, and a gold lining.
Blaziken Frontier Brain Pt3
Dialga Galactic Pt1
Torterra Lv. X DP1 Liner and rule box are in glittery foil
Froslass Gym Leader Pt2
Charizard. Logo is flower/star thing. Whole card has foil sparkles all over it and a gold lining.

Ho-oh. DP3
Aggron ex. Logo is weird thin cresent thing. Lining is foil
Lucario DP1
Typhlosion L1 (this time in a blue box instead of red). No idea what's going on with this card. the name is in gold foil, the picture is exploding out into the lining and the lining is sparkly foil.
Flygon Pt2
Giratina DP5
Yanmega DP5

All of these except the Darkrai, Aggron ex and Typhlosion are normal holos from sets that came out about 3 or so years ago. Sadly they won't be worth much since you got a holo rare in every pack in those sets. Alot of them probably won't even get you $1 each.

In july I pulled a Jolteon delta species 7/113 and the cool thing about it is that its name and HP are a gold holo and its the same with the border. The Jolteon itself also shines AND the rare symbol
. It says ex delta species in the bottom right of the picture. Any idea how much it could be worth?
Also, if its not to much too, how much is a Victini 98/101 full art worth?

Reshiram 77- the reshiram full art can go for as much as 18 dollars (Canadian) to as low as 9 dollars. The average would be about 13-14 dollars.

Your Jolteon is the alternate (rev.) holo version. That's why it has the set name in the corner of the picture.
They come 1 per booster pack, and it could be any card from the set that isn't ultra rare, secret, etc.
To the right person, it might fetch $3.

Victini Full Art is worth around $10 at the moment.

Need to know more details about your cards. Set, card number, etc.
If your Acticuno is the one I'm thinking of, it's not worth more than $3 or $4.

It depends. Which Mew are you referring to? And which Mewtwo EX?

You'll need to be more specific. There are 13 different English holographic psychic type Mew cards. And this was the only dark type Mewtwo EX but it's not a black star promo. Can you post a picture or scan of them?

In English only Base Set through Neo Revelation came in first edition. And you could tell by it having a little black symble on the left of the card under the picture (example here). And for Japanese cards (from Expedition on) it's on the bottom left of the card (example here).

B&W stands for "Black and White" which is the current-day series of cards.

All 3 of those EXs are about $6 each, Snivy is $2 and Ducklett is $3. And that Lucario is about $1.

It's very hard to make a profit in Pokemon.
An easier way to make profit is to buy someone's old collection, then piece out the cards.
