I just got a booster box of Plasma Storm, and I figured it would be a good idea to ask about the value of some of the cards I got:

Shiny Random Receiver

Articuno EX Full Art

Scramble Switch

Black Kyurem EX

Cobalion EX


I used gloves to take the cards out of the boosters, so the condition should be about the best possible. Also, I'd like to ask a more general question: Are the cards from a series noticeably more valuable when the series is brand new? Thanks for any info anyone can provide!

I don't know if it's too early to determine the card values for the Plasma Storm set, but I was wondering how much my White Kyurem EX (regular art) would be worth. Also, how much would a 1st Movie Promo Mewtwo go for these days? Finally (I know, I've got a lot of questions...), I've got a friend who has a mint condition Neo Destiny Shining Charizard. How much is that one worth (Cuz I'm sure he'd like to know)?

ewtwo Movie Promo is worth $1. They're very common.

Shining Charizard -- Damaged, $20 or less. Not Damaged an easy $35 or more.

When I first read the figure for Cobalion EX, I thought, "Really? The regular--not full art version? What would make it that much? Are people that worried about Resistance and Eviolite?"

Then it hit me. Sigilyph can't stop it. Cobalion is armor piercing! I'm officially intrigued, so I don't think I'll be selling that one.

I'm also not going to sell the Scramble Switch or the Black Kyurem EX. I'm not sure whether to sell the Shiny Random Receiver or the Articuno EX Full Art. I might have to ask about the Shiny Random Receiver another time.


On a different note, would anyone mind telling the value of a Full Art Colress? I didn't get one, but I'd still like to know.

2 things though, Are you sure the meowth is only a buck? I've seen people say it's around $15. Could be wrong though. And second, do you know how much the Latios Ex would have been if it wasn't damaged?

Yes, I'm sure Meowth is only worth $1. On eBay people are asking $3 but none are selling.
The Latios ex would be in the $10 range without damage.
