Sasuke watched as the unknown woman stepped forward, taking a pokéball from her belt and sinking to her knees. He stayed silent out of respect as she gazed skyward, hands together in prayer and mumbling softly in that foreign tongue. Finally, she stretched her arms out infront of her, palms facing upwards with the pokéball placed there. Suddenly, it sprang open of it's own accord, and before Sasuke stood an impressive Ursaring. Stripes marked it's face and cheeks, and what looked like a bird's footprint on it's forehead. After inspecting the inspiring pokémon for a while Sasuke could feel the eyes of the villagers were now eagerly upon him. It seemed that they were awaiting his choice and had understood his request. This is going to be some battle, he thought to himself, pondering which pokémon would be best suited for the task. Thinking that the occasion suited him most, Shiftry recurringly came to the front of his mind. His decision was final, he stamped his left leg forward and with one swift movement snapped his right hand across his body, plucking a pokeball from his belt and sending it twirling into the air high above him. As it reached it's highest point it opened at the middle, a flash of light filled the battle-field and then faded to reveal his own pokémon. Standing gracefully in a battle pose with his leaves across his face, and the villagers seemed suitably impressed. The language barrier should make this battle different, but it'll work to my favour aswell, he thought to himself, before giving out his first orders. "Use Flash to blind it as quickly as you can, and Leech Seed it while it's disorientated!" he ordered suddenly, keen to get the upper hand as quickly as possible, then sat back to watch as his pokémon moved forward to commence the battle.
