Have to admit... it may have been years since I have seen Pokemon Heroes (( Stupid awesome Rise of Darkrai becoming my new fave movie two years ago is why )) yet I still sail the boat for Identicalshipping. Nothing against Altoshipping at all. I simply adore the relationship Latias and Bianca have with each other. 8)

The Rise of Darkrai can take full credit for not only being an amazing movie with a beautiful song in Oracion, but it's what cemented my love for the wonder that is TotalEclipseshipping. I will forever stan for this pairing. Haters, meet left.

What are your favorite human x Pokemon pairings from the movies?

I will always have a soft spot for Altoshipping - it was my first real Pokémon ship, and I still think Ash and Latias' interactions are adorable. I don't love it as much as I used to, because I see it as more one-sided and that just makes me sad for Latias (she deserves ALL the love *squishes*), but there's definitely...something there. I love me some Identicalshipping too - like Vy said, Latias and Bianca's relationship is lovely. <3 They're so close, and don't have the typical Pokémon/trainer interactions which I find interesting in a pairing.

Despite not having actually seen the Lucario movie, I also like Staffshipping (that is the name for Aaron/Lucario, right?), because judging by everything I've heard and some lovely fics, they're my kind of H/P pairing - that kind of fierce loyalty between a human and Pokémon is one of my favourite things ever. <3 And a special mention for Wishshipping (Max/Jirachi? damnit, I'm getting rusty on names), because it's one of the few pairings where I really don't care for one half, yet still find it adorable. =3

What are your favorite human x Pokémon pairings from the movies?

As I've said before, definitely StaffShipping. There's a good dynamic there, and I would like to see more on the story.... But of course, that's not going to happen. What a pity.

I do see the appeals of WishShipping and AquaticNurture, though I can't say that either of them are my favorite. Same goes for Alto and Identical.

I have been toying with the idea of Kidd x Weavile (x Weavile) - they certainly seem very close, and given that Kidd's often on her own, I can see how the bond between her and her Pokémon may be unique.

Similarly, FirstShipping (Ash x Mewtwo) is something that I've been seeing the appeal of more recently. Given how it seems Ash was pretty key in Mewtwo's revelation at the end of the first movie and how he seemed so touched by Ash's care for him in Mewtwo Returns, it could be interesting. It's hard to see anything involving Ash ever really being reciprocated, though (unless it's Pikashipping).

Indeed it must! Some suggestions:

RecordShipping / RecordSettingShipping (because Kidd has set so many records...)
SuperDuperShipping (Brock called Kidd "super-duper", and the same probably applies to her Pokémon.)
BalancedShipping (They need balance to do the acrobatic things they do in the movie)
PlannedShipping (They seem to plan ahead)
SynchronizedShipping (The two Weaviles' "synchronized dance" when trying to catch Mew...)

...Though, I was wondering: Kidd x Weavile x Weavile or just Kidd x Weavile? Since she has two...

Hmm......I don't remember any pairing moments outside of Ash X Latias, and given it's the only one, I can't really say it's may favourite.
