...So. About that. I am planning as writing some pokexpoke for Amoureux... Now, I've done gijinka. Easy, cause the pokemon can talk and look more or less like humans. I'm doing some Negateshipping that's going well because Harley and Haruka are there to give the fic dialogue. But! I want to write a fic with two wild pokemon--no humans anywhere. So, my question is, how does everyone like to write/read their pokexpoke fics when there aren't any trainers involved? I've seen authors use translations so the pokemon talk, I've seen them only talk in pokemon language with insight into what's being said after, and I've seen no dialogue at all--only description. Which does everyone find easier to write/more enjoyable to read?
...I could use gijinka, but I'd like to try something new, you know?

@ taito: In my opinion... actions speak louder than words. I much prefer to write Pokemon in shipping fics as they are generally percieved (( sp? ))... so no speaking. As you know I write Stella in my Nynaeveshipping fics as not being able to speak and with my Deceitshipping fic that i'm slowly writing all that is going to be is description and actions. Mind you, i'm told i'm more descriptive than a dictionary with my story/fic writing. ;B
I'm not completely against the Pokemon speaking... I have seen a couple of one-shots who pulled it off perfectly and I myself am writing two Pokemon x Pokemon fics in which the Pokemon speak... but out of preference, no speaking okay and thanks.

As said, I have no problem with fics in which the Pokemon speak... but I much prefer to write them not speaking. Probably cause i'm descriptive anyways.

I kind of like it when the writer kind of gives insight to what the pokemon are saying to one another, but there are no quotations puncturing through.
One day! I will write a Krazyfic. Someday. Or maybe a different pairing, and just keep drawing my OTP. It's all good. =P
