This is perfect. Now you don't have to say, "Hmm...should we ban you are not" and it's completely fair. Spammer's BEWARE.

Just so you know, Mods also have the ability to do this and through proxy...they are now capable of banning indirectly through this method

What about the issue with the forums. Like how you accidently press submit more than once, because the forums go slow as hell sometimes, and so you get 50+ posts or 50+ topics?

I see no need to warn them for that, unless you just want us to send them a PM saying "Yes, the forums have a problem, they go slow sometimes and if they do not respond right away, please wait for it to respond or go to a 404 page, otherwise you may end up getting multiple posts or topics."

    We've never banned for that

Double Posting when its the same thing twice is generally accepted as a bug

    Its when someone posts

"Hey, how do you get Pikachu"
    "Come on, help me"

Well, Etebossu, Latios did state that the forums were having slow issues , in a announcement. The rules say check frequently for announcements. The announcement he said was "please press the submit button once because , if you press it alot, the computer would pick up all those submits and post 5 of the same thing." I say it's there loss if they don't check for announcements. They were forewarned about the issue and shouldn't be given leeway.

    This is my sig.

That sounds like a fair new system ^^ A lot more chances involved for those who are new and don't really know much better, right? And bans are fairer so there will be less complaining about those banned.

Simple and easy to understand, nice job.

And the new multi-quote feature is pretty cool.

And how many people here actually read the rules, let alone pay attention to the announcements? And I know what the announcement said, I did read it afterall.

@Serebii, I know we never have banned for that, but if I do recall correctly, I have seen people give usernotes to those who have done that.

Thank you Now it will be easier to mod and easier for us to track how close we are to a ban

Edit: also i was looking over it and it doesnt say anything bout a rule breaking sig if your sig is breaking a rule is that worth any points?

    ...interesting.

Just a quick question though - about the swearing one, is that swearing abuse, or is that just swearing full stop? I would dislike it if I were unable to swear just once in a while, and I would just like that cleared up, thanks.

Wait a sec, about unsolicited PMs, does that count if you PM someone that you really don't know in a friendly way, to ask them to be your friend or just to talk?

Serebii, through the times I have been a member here, sometimes I have accidently multi-post. When I do that, the post are the same or about the same. It seems to be due to a slow computer or a mistake in trying to edit the original post. Can you let that slide given that it was an accident? I can correct it if I spot it, but I'm talking mainly about when it does happen.

Where does it say how many points three day bans give you?

SInce I am posting, I may as well mention that this is a bad solution to a problem that is easy to, solve, well, at least the spam portion...

Yes, when the forums are slow you might accidently double post.
You won't be punished for this since it's not really your fault, but try to delete the duplicate post if you notice that has happened.

How are you supposed to make friends without sending PMs like that?^^
There is nothing wrong with friend PMs as longs as you don't advertise or annoy the user in any way.

I'll ban you in a couple of days, or when you edit this signature. Either works.

    Very good system, Joe!

But, um, about the double,triple,ect.,ect., what if it was by accident?

I doubt some people would purposly post the same exact thing 2/3/4/5/6+ times in a row within the same topic. Just wondering.
