    Default COTD 3/10/07: Owl Hunter

    "O RLY? Aquadon's doing a COTD?"

    YA RLY, and I'm going with my favorite card for today. Now, excuse me, I have SATs to do.



    Hunter Owl ****
    Winged-Beast/WIND/1000/900
    This card gains 500 ATK for each WIND monster on your side of the Field. While there is another WIND monster on your side of the Field, your opponent can't select this card as an attack target.
    I love this card, as it gave Winged Beasts a boost that they needed. It already starts at 1500ATK, and just goes from there. Also, we have that insane Lock ability here, where 2 Owl Hunters create 2 2000ATK Sticks that can't be attacked. Not to mention, they have good searchability (Kamikiri), good support (Icarus Attack), and other good cards to help them. I might have to run an Armed Hybrid when I get 3 of these, as I just love them so much.

    ADV 4/5: (Love it, but obv. still has its quirks to fix)
    Trad. 2/5: (Sorry, but Chaos is too much.
    Art 5/5: It's an Owl. Enough said.

    and its Hunter Owl you said it was Owl Hunter in the title anywayss could own in any wind deck

    The only tihng making it worse than the Maurading Captain lock is that you can't bring both out on the same turn with just the two monsters alone.

    So many combos witht his card. This card alone raises the tier ladder of Wind deck to 1.

    If only it was common, ths card would see playe evrywhere in it's own deck.

    ^ Promo for Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Spirit Caller video game.

    And you may not be able to to a Maruading Captain type thing with it but you could use Inferno Reckless Summon to get 3 of these bad boys out at once.

    Still pretty hard to find a means of s. summoning it and having Inferno Reckless Summon go off legally.

    A Command Knight for Wind monsters, joy, hoot. I like it though, hoot.

    Bladefly - decrease for earth + Wind Command Knight - Armor + Hoot = This little guy

    Art: 4/5 (Nice detail, hoot)
    Trad: 2.5/5 (Bleh, hoot)
    Adv: 3.5/5 (Low attack killed it hoot)

    Best played in 3s.

    I got the game last month. And the card itself is pretty sweet. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to eventually.
