Drill Peck VS Whirlwind

Which would you breed onto a Skarmory since you can't breed both moves? Drill Peck or Whirlwind?

I'd definately choose Drill Peck. It's an incredibly powerful attack to have on a Lv. 5 Pokemon,especially with STAB. It mostly depends on your battle style.

As said, no one uses Soundproofers anyways, and You can teach him roar so why bother giving him Whirlwind ?

Drill Peck is better since very few ppl use pokemon with soundproof. You can only get both moves on Skarmory in D/P.

I would say Whirlwind. You can easily use HP Flying or even Aerial Ace as an offensive move.

skarmory uses spikes 3 times. then roars. and roars. and roars. and roars. it kills tonnes of pokemon. then drill peck is there to finish one off. but if a pokemon like.. mr.mime came in, roar doesnt affect him due to soundproof. so that is where whirlwind is preferred. in which case, you need hp flying or aerial ace>drill peck, as whirlwind and drill peck is not possible to achieve on the same pokemon.

yes. otherwise skarmory would even more used as every pokemon sent out would die.
