Well fellow shiny pokemon hunters, after a week or trial and error, I FINALLY got not one, not two, but three shiny Mareep before my chain broke :P Two males and one females. The first male has a Loney nature, second, a Bashful nature, and the female a Relaxed nature, all level 7. I'm happy with those :P Man...That was not easy work...But I am happy that I got what i needed ^_^ Good luck to you all!

    Congrats AeonCommander!!

Did you chaine those Mareep at the Valley Windorks?
Cause I'm aiming for Mareep to, but I only seem to get Pachirisu or Buizel or that..pre evolution of Gastrodon..

    Thanks! ^_^

Sadly enough, Valley Windworks is the only place they appear, and they are rare, even for pokeradar. My advice, don't go in all tense like I did, it has fail writen all over it :P Just approuch it like everything else. And once you reach 40, just reset your radar, don't go into unnessasary battles...Oh! And bring at LEAST 200+ Maxrepels...You'll need them

Thanks for the tips AeonCommander ^^
I'll try Mareep when I'm better at chaining

I'm no master, but you should have better luck then I did, I never caught any shiny before mareep, I didn't know what to look for bush wise :P Anyway, I wish you the best of luck Kimmy! Great hunting...Now I must decide my next target. *evil laugh*

I thought of that, but I'm not in for Shiny pokemon just to have them, I plan on training the shinys I find :P Goofy, I know. So I think I'll go for Pinsir (A personal bug favorate) and see how that goes :P...First I have to get some money @_@ What Pokeballs do you use anyway Kimmy?

I always use Quickballs, I never damage the Pokemon.. You can throw a Quickball at the beginning of a battle and catch it, but for some Pokemon it won't work.. But I've caught my Starlys with Quickballs I love Quickballs ^^ ..
I was practising chaining yesterday.. But now I'll go for Mareep

I used Nest Balls for mareep, they may not look to pretty :P With the nasty green color, but they got the job done. Where can I find Quick Balls anyway o.o I've been to a number of marts, no one had them lol

Hey, congrats on catching those Mareep AeonCommander!
Told you you'd do it if you persisted - Well done!

And I hope you have great luck with your chaining target Kimmy^_^

My target is Clefairy in the Trophy Garden. Sadly they have a miserably low appearance rate of 5%, so this could be a tough one @__@
I did have a chain of +10 last night, but I messed up and entered the wrong bush type...

Oh well, time to try again~

the best tip i can give you is not to go into a patch if theres any doubt in your mind that it has the pokemon you want.... reset the radar instead!
there are a lot of chaining tips earlier in the thread too

    good luck!

No, it has to be in the front of your party, but you can KO it and it will still take effect:]

You'll just walk from left to right/up and down
    Untill your radar works again

    Arghhh I don't know what's wrong today ><
My chains keep breaking in the early 20's.. I can't seem to get the hang of it today
