Ohhh Kubo would never do that. He'd be horrible for that role. If anyone I think it would be Ukitake Unohana or Kyoraku....if not them then Byakuya if he wakes up..

Well you have to admit Kubo does kinda hold out on killing anyone off who's even just a little important (Unless they are an antagonist of course) which is why I was surprised when Sasakibe got killed. Same with Yamamoto.

Well at least Yama is dead, although I did read some theories by fans that he's still alive since his body was never recovered (they seem to be forgetting that Juha Bach destroyed the body). In my opinion it's pure delusion at this point to believe that he's still alive, but then again, the Byakuya fans were saying that he [Byakuya] must still be alive just last week, and they were right. I wonder what Kubo has in store for us.

Huh. Oh well, at the very least Byakuya was still intact. Yama got cut in half. How they'd expect him to survive that is beyond me.

Simple. Yamamoto was revived as a molten zombie through his own Zanpaku-To's power. I pray that Byakuya stays in his coma until the end of the arc.

Those predictions are probably for the most part correct, though I cannot see Renji and Ikkaku becoming acting Captains, nor do I really see Hachigen becoming a Vice Captain. The remaining Visored other than Hachi probably have a better chance.

She was Kyoraku's lieutenant yeah it was. I doubt Kubo will bring back any more of the Visords to the Soul Society though...

I thought your zanpakto disappears when you die. That was not the case with Yamamoto?

And I believe Byakuya's zanpakto disappeared like last chapter or two. And... He's still alive.

I don't know... I'm sure Soul Society's still got tabs on them, so given how badly the Vandenreich just ran through everyone in their way, I don't think it's impossible that they could be called back.

I'm just waiting for the mystery swordsman to be revealed; this week's chapter seemed to confirm that they weren't a threat, but the mystery of their identity still remains. And where is Uryu in all of this? He just disappeared right before Ichigo and the others entered Hueco Mundo.

Since Haschwald broke Ichigo's sword, that coupled with the revelation of Ichigo being a Quincy makes me think Uryu is going to be his coach in the next stretch of training.

I think I saw someone on /a/ who actually did a side-by-side comparison of old scans of Grimmjow and the sword that appeared in Urahara's face that was an eerily close match, but I recently read a fascinating theory that it might be Gin, based on the appearance that whoever cut Kirge in half seemingly did so from a distance.

And it does make some sense; if Hollows don't like Shinigamis (which simply purify them), they must absolutely hate Quincies (which destroy their souls forever).
