Well, from the TBtP chapters, she was around before Shunsui and Ukitake were, so she is really powerful. Thats what I think at least. :V

I'm not really paying attention to these chapters. I really want to see Captains vs Espadas, not Fraccións.

She almost definitely won't fight until an Espada endagers someone else. If you'll remember a few chapters back, into the save Rukia arc, 2 or 3 people, including Shunsui, make a couple of comments here and there pretty much saying she isn't one to be messed with.

But yeah, I am looking forward to her fighting as well.

She will most likely be headed to the front lines when an Espada or a Fraccion will intercept her and she'll be forced to fight.

Swarm tries to kill Unohana and fails.
Fraccion leader (woman) comes up and fights Unohana herself.
Espada spouts random crap about woman comraderie, Unohana just wants to be on her way.
Epic battle. For no reason, if you ask Unohana.

Unohana becomes the Last Action Hero.

one of the databooks says she's a master at Kendo. also in data book one of the shinigami(i forgot who) commented that they rather face Yamamoto's bankai than her.
