I just realized that showing Isshin and Kisuke at the start of the chapter was sort of unnecessary. They did absolutely nothing, and unless Kubo plans on having them join Ichigo and Ginjou's fight, their little cameo will have been for nothing. I don't see them getting involved since this is between Fullbringers, so I can guess what will happen.

I'm saying that he probably doesn't even know what's going on. He's been with Kisuke for a while now, and it looked like they were both setting out to run some errands with that mysterious Shinigami.

^ my bad then. Also, I just remembered... Where exactly was Isshin at the beginning of Bleach when that hollow attacked their home (before Ichigo got his powers) and injured Yuzu and Karin? Or were his shinigami powers still on hiatus at the time?

I actually though that Isshin and Kisuke was shown at the beginning leaving because Kudo planned on having them come in soon. It would be sort of weird for them to suddenly appear to help when last we saw they were preforming some sort of ritual.

I'm almost certain that Kisuke knows how to give someone back their Shinigami powers, and that Isshin got help from him. I'm thinking that Kisuke didn't help Ichigo because he has something planned. Like I said before, I don't trust Kisuke anymore.

I wonder how he lost his powers to begin with. I don't remember it being discussed, but I hope that Kubo shows us how Isshin lost his Shinigami powers. He did mention that he wanted to do another arc like the Turn Back The Pendulum arc, so it may happen.
