God, I hate myself for always falling inactive, but at least I'm not that late this time, let's get to my review of inactive FH's doom.
Like Darkpersian479 already commented, the utter convenience of Skarmory (Who I know adore) nabbing that exact ball Vanessa needed to catch Archopy, it's somewhat humorous if you think about, all it wanted was some revenge but he actively put a stop to Vanessa's plans. This also makes me wonder what Vanessa is going to do once she finds out Carrie and Theo's plans radically differ from her. Technically though, she has a big disadvantage now.
That said, I'll move on to Skarmory, who I really hope will return, in the ownership of a good trainer or just as a wandering ally, perhaps he will follow them out of persistence, though I think Theo would capture it then. Anyway, his interactions with both Tyranitar and Absol were very well executed and explain quite some things. I like the Tyranitar close bond to her previous trainer as well as the revelation that she's a 'she'.
Though Carrie and Theo didn't really receive as much attention as previous chapters, there small parts were very deep, for example, Armaldo's lifeless behavour that hasn't changed at all both made me feel very sorry for Theo and make me very curious what caused this to happen, Theo seems to know though.
The last thing, Joy was so very cute this chapter, not the stereotypical cute, but she actually forced Vanessa to try and soothe it as well as fight against Skarmory although she couldn't damage him (which is why I also like this comment from Vanessa)
and she was reluctant to send Joy in case the Togetic got hurt.
It was very, very cute.
As was this x3
Vanessa rose from behind the rock and let out a shriek of sheer frustration.
That'd be all, byebye.
