I actually evolved my Pikachu! =O (I do like the yellow electric mouse, but Raichu gets shafted so much.)
I played Pokemon since Gen 1, starting with Yellow. Yet, a lot of my favorite Pokemon tend to be from later Generations.
I also like the Vanilluxe line.

No, really. Rampardos, Aggron, Archeops, Rhyperior, Custle and Carracosta are nice Pokémon as well.
Talking about Rhyperior, I don't hate the Gen IV evolutions for older Pokémon.
Sure, Magmortar and Electivire are a bit ugly (to me, at least), but Togekiss, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, Yanmega e Honchkrow are nice.

Some people say they don't like Electivire and Magmortar, because they're ugly. I don't see that as a good reason to dislike a Pokemon, but this is coming from my opinion.

It was back when I saw Electivire on the anime for the first time, then DP came out. Lot of people, even non Pokemon fans thought he was badass but then when I discovered here, I saw members disliking him.

Some people follow the crowd. If they see a good number of people hating on something, then they'll do the same. It's a shame really, there a lot of Pokemon that receive hate and they're good too.
