Yes I'm afraid we don't allow discussion of generations before we know anything about them. Whilst you may think it is a worthwhile subject to talk about, what can you really discuss about a suvject you know NOTHING about other than pure speculation. We could have new four types; Purple, Flat, Jelly and Disease. A hundred new pokemon invluding twelve new evolutions for Eevee and another four pre-volutions for pokemon that didn't need them. Gym Leader rematches every day whether you want them or not, and an evil team that actually isn't evil, but working towards a better future only to be foiled by an evil protagnoist and evil elite four. Who knows, we could just make up anything and hope it's in the new generation.

Quick answer. There is no OFFICIAL shiny artwork. Anything you see has been made by people who have Photoshop. It's a pretty easy job to re-colour the official artwork into the shiny colours, and that is what you're seeing. If you need high quality shiny artwork, all you need is high quality original artwork and someone able and willing to re-colour it for you.

Will someone explain what are the horrible flaws that apparently make people dislike GSCHGSS? I honestly think that HGSS were my favorites and I don't know why people think so badly of them. I can't think of any glaring flaws that would cause so much hate.

Disclaimer: before anyone accuses me of being blinded by nostalgia goggles, I would like to say that nostalgia plays no role in why I like HGSS. I genuinely think that they were the best, and just want to understand what it is that people have against them.

HG is my second favorite game next to Emerald. I think it's unpopular just because in a way, it was sort of the easiest. Plus, people thought the Pokemon distribution was poor. Personally, I like it because it was so simple. There wasn't any pressure to save the world, and there was actual continuity as opposed to just implied continuity. Plus, the Johto region is beautiful looking with the classic Japanese buildings and the green forests. We even got to visit Kanto and see with our own eyes how much the world had changed.

First of all Bidoof is a GOOD Pokemon, in fact its a great one because for something that just looks like the very definition of a STUPID (in it's facial expression, not the design), it is so good that while I was originally going to box it in Pearl after getting something better, I decide to keep it, and then catch it AGAIN in Platinum b/c when trained to a properly, and thought the right moves and a good defensive shield as a Revive backup it can down Flint single handily.

Secondly The Poison type being weak to almost everything is BS. I know this one is more of a popular opinion but people see the amount of Poison pokemon their in the next game coming up and their all like "well this is going cost me 1000 antidotes" BUT they don't remember for two seconds that Poison has nothing that;s 2x weak to it anymore except Grass which used to almost always be half poison type anyway, and the strength against Bugs is gone.

3rdly: Bug Pokemon SUCK SO BAD. They are not worth a millisecond of my time of day nor should they be worthy of yours. Seriously don't believe me then try actually trying to raise a Kricketot, because yeah it evolves fast but it only has growl and bide to start and dealing with bide to try to train it is a pain. Actually getting the thing one level up just to learn struggle bug is a miracle if you do it WITHOUT the whole swap out for exp thing. ALSO there is no reason NOT to evolve it at lv 10 b/c it only learns one more move 6 lvs later.

4th: Can someone PLEASE tell me why the Psychic type even exist. It was game breaker in Gen 1 and it's still not doing anybody without a dark type any favors really. On a personal level too it's just not worth it to try and find a catch one of them because why you may get a strong Pokemon out of it with good typing there is SO MUCH MORE you can do to make a good team then to just go find the one thing in the world that can one shot everything.

5th and finally: Mew can you please do me a huge favor and KISS MY *** because I don't care if you can learn every single move and you are a special rare treat event Poke, I am not gonna waste my time trying to track you down or try to do the Gen 1 glitch just to find your #151 sorry ***.

And you're in the minority on this one, completely. Ash's new voice, I'll admit, is one of the better replacements on now (not saying anything IMO-- it's still horrid when put against Taylor IMHO).

I didn't even know the original cast was replaced until I found out, because I thought Ash had grown older when he had the new voice until I looked it up and even then I didn't care if they stayed or not.

Wow, that's awful. Most will always care, but alas it's gone downhill drastically since IMO.
As of BW001, he's 10. Kind of obvious which voice fits a 10 year old youth better, but alas I guess people like deeper voices. As for the rest, those are obvious as well except for Jessie, which depends on whether you like one with a higher-pitch or lower-pitch. I myself prefer Lillis of the two, because she sounds more natural and emotive. O_O

I agree that the 4kids dubbing was superior (although this isn't really an unpopular opinion). I feel that the older voices sounded A LOT more natural. This is mostly due to the fact that the current cast is trying to replicate the old voices. My favorite VA was Lillis who did a fantastic job at voicing Misty, Joy, Jenny, Jessie, and even Jigglypuff. I felt that there was a lot more emotion especially with Jessie. The current voice of Jessie does too much of the high-pitched falsetto type of speech and it gets annoying. Lillis made her sound a lot more snobbish and diabolical.

Ditto. Everything has gone completely downhill since, and I find everything so depressing, it's shocking beyond belief. I have to watch the show in JPN w/subs now, permanently. I gave TPCi dub seven years to prove me wrong, and it's stayed more or less exactly the same as in Season 9 overall. *sits in corner wondering why money is all that matters to people*
