I've never really nicknamed my Pokemon before I got D/P, but I think it's kinda cool. It gives your Pokemon a bit more personality.

This thread is for posting your opinions on nicknames, your Pokemons' nicknames, and to get advice on nicknaming your own.

Don't forget to keep things appropriate.

Nicknames are always fun for me. most of the times I use the japanese names of the pokemon and sometimes I just use random japanese words.

For some reason, I always seem to name my flying type pokemon of my team "Suzaku" Idk why, I just like it.

Every single one of my Pokemon are nicknamed, except for the ones I obtained in trades. :3

My favorites nicknames include:
Owen the Torterra
Tweezer the Staraptor
Koheret the Wormadam
Bo the Vaporeon
Tokine the Gastrodon
Ilita the Manectric

(Man, alphasyther, the Poke Card..... four of those Pokemon are from my main team. :3 )

I used to nickname all my pokemon in Silver, but now I only name my starters and sometimes my EV trained ones. It's kind of a waste of time...

I think I nicknamed my Porygon-Z on Shoddy "KKK-Man".

Pupu (katakana) - Stunky
Nate - Torterra
