You could name your Gliscor "Bram" after Bram Stoker, the person who wrote Dracula.
Dusknoir-->Ghost (not to much thought into that one)
Mamoswine--> Mamopigs (swine=pigs)

Darkness - Dusknoir
AJ - Gliscor

I always nicknamed my pokemon, ever sense I was a wee boy with Red version.
In recent years I've taken to either tributing the names to people or characters such as Ike -> Infernape. or having a theme like in FireRed is Greek and Roman Gods such as Apollo -> Charizard, Aries -> Primeape, and Poseidon -> Vaporian and Emerald is based on Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy [Ford -> Manectric and so on]

Gyaaa! I nicknamed PKMN since Sapphire.. Althogh i am still doin it!
Lopunny=Mimi
Honchkrow=Murky
Roserade= Roselass (coz it cooperate with Frostlass)
Frostlass= Frostrade (same but to Roserade)
Bibarel= Bobrik (its alternate Polish name for beaver... but somewat sweet... something like beaver-chan :P)
Lucario(F)= Rie
Voltorb- KRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR XDXD

i like to give my pkmn names from mythology :3
eg
umbreon - freya [goddess of beauty & love in norse paganism]
espeon - elda [in case you know 'chobits', you'll why]
leafeon - daphne [greek nymph that was transformed into a laurel]
jolteon - ikarus [charakter of greek mythology that died due to giddiness]
flareon - phoenix [that firebird, guess you know it xD]
vaporeon - calypso [a sea nymph]

actually i dont like to give gen 4 pkmn nicknames cause i wont memorise the species' names otherwise :/

Hmm...I'm IV breeding for that perfect Sheildon, and i'm already trying to think up of a name for one. The problem is, i can't think of anything at all. I don't want the name to involve Chat/1337 speak in it. Please, if someone can brainstorm for me, i'd be grateful. Thanks in advance!

I nickname every Pokemon I train, often after mythological beings or gods, etc. For example, my Kingdra is called Poseidon after the greek god of the sea. I've got too many nicknamed Pokemon to list all of them... Oh yeah, and I got a Volbeat called Jumbo Dick from the GTS.
