well, those categories with one nominee, is what's left...
If there's a category with one nominee, it means that the said nominee was the only one to get nominated at least twice in that category...the others were either nominated once, or not at all...
So they kinda win the category by default :/

I see... so basically none of us have to vote on the catagories that have only one nominee, right? But aww, more people should have nominated. It's kind of like the Oscars loses its' point if one wins by default. How long did everyone have time to nominate? It was around a month and other people here said that they didn't even know about it at first so yeah. ._.; I'm thinking this place would have gotten noticed more if more people got to spread the word but I guess that's not the case..

And yes, surely more people would have come by if the word had been spread, but hey, I sent some PMs around, about two weeks ago, some came by to nominate, others didn't do anything, some even said they would, and didn't...

I think about a couple more weeks can do some good. And having more people spread the word can be better like the Fanfiction forum. Well, not literally make a thread to advertise but just have members link to the Shipping Oscars in their sig, I suppose. ... I'm sounding a little confusing, aren't I? xD

Sometimes it's hard to people to nominate because many don't have the time to read much fanfiction. For me, I mostly read one-shots but will read multi-chaptered fics whenever I can. I think that might be the case for a lot of people or simply because they're closet readers. Or maybe it's the lag as well. If more people come by and agree to having some extra time then that could possibly work. :3

Since obviously, if we need to advertise, that means people who aren't familiar with this forum will need to come by...
And I'm fairly sure all the people who actively come here have seen this thread...just take a look at the number of views this thread has !
And if people don't read chaptered fics, let them nominate other stuff, or anything they want !

Me gots a question.

If we're only voting for a few of the categories, and we're copying the form, do we just leave the un-voting part blank, or do we just delete that part? (Yes, I'm being picky. :3 ) And do we send the votes to Chelc now, regardless of her "vacation", or do we send them to you, shadowshipper, during the time that Chelc is on vacation?
