Is that Toxicroak shiny?

I think it is, they haven't had a shiny pokemon on the anime since Donphan. Maybe they want to premiere another one.

i have tro agree but, as posted on another thread (i forget which), apparently all anime art regarding toxicroak look like that. i won't get my hopes up but i do hope it is the first dp shiny.

You make a good point.And like many others said,it is a shiny Toxicroak.And again,look at the sprite.The shiny color is like the one of the Toxicroak in the picture.

Its obvious it is the shiny but will be the norm from now on. The pokemon company loves toxicroaks shiny form so much that they have decided to use the shiny in all of the official art and merchandise. its plain to tell from the toy which has pink cheeks. Maybe they planed this so if brocks turns normal while every other one is shiny, people will think his is the shiny form. Its not unheard of for Nintendo to switch forms like this, I mean remember smeargle? Last part aside, that is just some fake theory I made up that only a noob would believe. But still the show is long over due for a shiny and it would be great if it were a reoccuring shiny that wasn't on the twerps team.

Bulbapedia lists Dokurog as being 4'03". So certainly not that tall.

Yes, but Croagunk (forgot the Japanese name) is 2'04", so that's about half the size of Toxicroak. If you look at the preview pic on the main website, Croagunk is like the size of Toxicroak's head alone.

Exactly my point. Dokurog certainly shouldn't be that massive. Though the anime does have differences, so it doesn't really matter in the end.
