Awesome, First post Hence I get to remembered for all eternity. (or at least until a new thread is made...)

    Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Torrent
    EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
    Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Ice Beam
    - Hydro Pump
    - Focus Punch
    - Substitute

Subpunching Swampert owned me the other day, so I'm trying it out. How are the standard mixpert Evs on it? Probably going ot change the nature... perhaps. Going last with Sub is preferable to take an attack and leave the substitute in tack for a Punch. Hydro Pump is necesary for a 2HKO on common Phys walls such as Skarmory, although with timing I can Punch them into oblivion.

If your planning to make a mix Swampert, I would suggest EQ on it. The EPs and nature seems fine to me but try replacing Substitute with EQ and Focus Punch to Brick Break maybe? :P

EDIT: Maybe replacing Ice Beam with EQ would be better if you really want a Subpunching one, but then theres nothing that would be able to hurt Salamence :3

    Ah-hem*

I know the standard MixPert. I'm, looking for more of a Blissey Ownage feel with Punch, and a Phys wall rape with the other two moves. Substitute eases up the prediction which really helps. It's the EVs and Nature that I'm iffy about. Movesets pretty solid.

    252 HP/ 216 Def/ 40 SAtk Relaxed works.

I don't really like sub punching on Swampert, usually it isn't much better than stab EQ and it requires a Sub up to work decently:

Focus Punch - base 150 power - SE: Steel, Rock, Normal, Dark, Ice
STAB EQ - 100*(1.5) = 150 power - SE: Steel, Rock, Fire, Electric, Poison

Basically you are only hitting Blissey/Snorlax/TTar/Weavile a lot harder in OU (seeing as you also have Muddywater/Ice Beam), but those shouldn't be switching in on Pert anyway as they'll lose one-on-one most of the time.

Overall I like that last slot for secondary damage supporting, Pert is very good at that; Stealth Rock, Toxic, Roar are great options over Substitute.

Jolly > Adamant. You've got it EVd for a Jolly nature anyway o.O

    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Dragon Claw
    ~ Stone Edge
    ~ Fire Punch

U-Turn OR Quick Attack could also be run in the last spot.

NFE that are not signifigantly different from their evolutions fall into the same tier as said Evos. Ie Waynut is Uber, Chancey is OU but Trapinch is UU [as apposed to Flygons BL, which you knew ]

CB Flygon is usually outdone by the faster/stronger Garchomp though, so I usally prefer the Specs set on him.

Chansey isn't used in OU being outclassed in everything by it's evo, but it is certainly to good for UU imo.

    Umbreon@??? and Impish
    170 HP/252 DEF/88 SPDEF
    Wish
    Moonlight
    Faint Attack/Pursuit
    Toxic/Confuse Ray/Hidden Power Flying/Screech

Need help with Item, and possibly EVs, Nature, and last move. Pursuit and Confuse Ray are supposed to be some halfassed combo. I probably don't need all those EVs in HP with Moonlight, huh?

Specs set: Draco Meteor/ Fire Blast/ Earth Power/ Dragon Pulse or Giga Drain. Pretty good.

    Umbreon@Leftovers
    Nature: Careful
    EVs: 252 HP/ 120 Def/ 136 SDef

    -Baton Pass
    -Wish/ Moonlight

Usable Umbreon. In future, never use Confuse Ray.

    Relaxed Nature (+Def, - Speed)
    252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Sp.Def
    - Mean Look
    - Wish
    - Baton Pass
    - Yawn / Toxic / Pursuit / Payback / Substitute / Protect / Taunt

Mean look / Wish passer, works especially great with yawn so you can get some free stat up moves, but you can also opt for an attack move.

If you mean 204 HP/ 148 Atk/ 156 Spd, then that would be my set, if I'm not mistaken. But it works.

You're smart. You probably know a person just doesn't max Speed on a Heracross.

Yes, but Hera's lackluster base 85 speed kind of yells Speed as high as possible. What things of importance will I outspeed with 156? Asking, not opposing.

156 gives you 245 Spd which outspeeds Jolly TTar along with others trying to do the exact same thing, which is quite a lot. It's not overly-impressive, but anything higher is simply a waste. And because it'll be lacklustre unless you slap a Scarf on it, which real men don't, you generally give it some much-needed support, e.g. paralysis, which was the basic concept behind my last two teams.

204 HP EVs gives it maximum recovery from Leftovers, and the rest is in Atk which is plenty enough.

    Hi

I have 2 Shiny Calm Vulpix, one of which I want to EV train and use Ingame (I like to have good reserves incase I can competitively battle)

    Their IVs are

    HP: 2
    Att: 2
    Def: 16
    SpAtt: 28
    SpDef: 16
    Spd: 10

    HP Fighting 36

    and

    HP: 20
    Att: 18
    Def: 29
    SpAtt: 9
    SpDef: 4
    Spd: 16

    HP Rock 31

I take it the first is better. My main problem comes to movesets and EVs. Calm is a good nature for Vulpix, so I am not worried that the best is Timid, but the moveset is causing problems. Hypnosis and Energy Ball are both out of the question, being Egg Moves, and me wanting to use my shinies.

    My only idea was

    Ninetales @ Leftovers
    Calm (Obviously)

    Nasty Plot
    Flamethrower
    Extrasensory
    Overheat

Overheat is there as I do not have the Dark Pulse TM (Its only other Special move), and it SORT of fits with Nasty Plot (Nasty Plot up a couple of times, hit with a super charged Overheat, and not suffer for it)

Is there any other moveset that would better suit it (my style is to be more offensive, espcially with a pokemon like Ninetales, who is not very defensively strong)

Energy Ball might be a TM, but Ninetales cant learn Energy Ball from it. The only way to get Energy Ball onto the Vulpix line is to breed a female one with a male Smeargle with Energy Ball.

The iv's aren't that great anyway so unfortunately you're gonna have to rebread and this time with smeargle.

    Ninetales

    nasty plot
    flamethrower
    energy ball
    hypnosis

is the best move set for it.

What's a good moveset for a Jolly Gyarados (now a lvl.1 Magikarp) with 31 EV's in all stats? I really don't know what to do with it.
