Single Posts?

How do you create a single post? I searched the FAQ and didn't see anything.

And I feel like a total noob...

Well, you just did, but you did it by making a thread, which is different.
So, to normally make a single post, use the quick reply box at the bottom of the page. Hit 'Post quick Reply'. That should do it.
Just don't mash the button a million times. That results in double, triple posting.

Wow, I'm not that noobie. If you look at my posts, I can obviously do that.

What I mean is, have a link in my signature that takes you to a single post, and at the bottom it says "close this window" or something. Anyone know how?
