Um, 3rd Gen discussion, so only 3rd Gen pokes, I would assume.

I named my female Flygon Dustie, and that's about it. I rename my pokemon with lowercase letters, because the normal text is like BLAH. Example: SWAMPERT to Swampert.

I named all my grass monotype Pokémon after their cries when I met them.
Treecko was ShihaShiha, shroomish Skriaa, lotad Skiff, I still can't remember cacnea's name, and I couldn't figure out tropius so I named it Whoosh.
My zigzagoon was just "zig." Nothing special, though it's found several useful items through PickUp. My favorite HM slave. <3

i nicknamed my nuzleaf "nuzzly". it was the only 3rd gen poke i nicknamed, i thought it was cute. when i used leaf stone on it, i changed its name back to shiftry.
