Save for a few examples (Weezing, Dodrio, Cheruby) All Pokemon are symetrical looking Strait on, you could cut it in half (infact I think the OW's for HG/SS were only done 50% and the copied and flipped.)

Charmeleon's Japanese name is one letter away from Charizard's. (Lizardo and Lizardon respectively).

Despite Charizard's popularity as a physical sweeper, its base Special Attack is actually much higher than its base Attack.

According to the Yellow Pokedex: Charmeleon can blow blue flames when it's excited. Also, when it's excited, the fire on the end of Charmeleon's tail will turn blue.

Looking at Charmeleon's sprites, when glanced at in order (Japanese Red + Green, English Red + Blue, Silver, Gold, Ruby + Sapphire) they can be considered an animation.

This happened to my sister in Sapphire as well. I was going to test it without overwriting my file a while ago, but I had to turn off before I got the chance. So now I know this is probably a glitch. (maybe now that I have no important Pokemon in Ruby, that's something I can look at again. Or perhaps it's just with Ruby and not with Sapphire... I should look at that.)

EDIT: Apparently, according to another post on that page, this also happens with a Gentleman to the west of Lilycove, except he walks onto a fence. Maybe I'll play through and see.

Heracross is the only Bug-type Pokemon who can learn Megahorn, a Bug-type move O_o Yes, that is ANY method.

Espeon has had a few color changes: In G/S, it was a grayish-purple, but it switched to pink in Crystal. How strange. In G/S/C, Misdreavus's necklace hovers around its neck, but in all the other generation it appears to be attached to its throat... unorthodox? Also in G/S/C its "hair" had pink streaks put in the later generations it was just tipped with pink.

A Gastly "dwindles away" if it comes in contact with a strong wind, but using Gust on it has no effect. Not like it would, I just find it sort of odd.

In Gold and Silver, shiny Unown didn't look any different than a normal Unown. Nor did its back sprite, but in Crystal the Unown is black and the shiny is blue.

Yes, but the whole point of the thread is to post contradictory or strange facts that don't make any logical sense. So if you're tired of hearing it, maybe you should avoid reading any posts here in the future.

this is a fair agreement, and it's not like I'm the first person to complain about a constantly repeated fact on the best thread on serebii....although I'm the first person to do it in a while (People don't repeat things as often)
