    Gyarados was always a Water/Flying...strangely.
If you think that "If you [insert activity here], put this in your sig. (Started by [user])" is stupid, put this in your sig. (started by blitzerzero, who may also be known as blitzer, C.C. Nidorina and Nidoqueen can not breed, but NidoranF can.
Related to the previous, NidoranM, Nidorino and Nidoqueen can all breed.

Because Azurill is a 75% female species, You have a 25% chance of having your Azurill change its gender upon evolution.

Even though they are described to be mortal enemies, Zangoose and Seviper can breed.

Shellos and Gastrodon where meant to be in R/S/E but where cut because they were not able to program the two forms part.

Dratini can learn extremespeed in G/S/C through obtaining it in blackthorn city after answering all of the questions 'warm heartedly.'

That's it for now. Sorry if I repeated some things mentioned already.

According to a Pokémon magazine I read once,Poliwag was the first Pokémon Ken Sugimori ever drew.

In real life, the easiest way to tell the difference between a seal and a sea lion is that sea lions have ears and seals don't.But Seel (Who is called a "Sea Lion" in the Pokédex) has no ears, whereas Spheal (Who is classified as a "Seal") does.

Steel types may be immune to Poison attacks, but not the Poison Point ability
My Qwilfish did this to a Steelix on XD once.
Same thing w/ Ground types and the Static ability.

In addition to Skitty breeding with Wailord, Diglett can breed with Wailord too.

There are far too many "breeding facts." Lets try to move away from that.

    - Ghost Types are supposed to be strong against Psychic types, yet the only Ghost Types that were available in Gen 1, were also part Poison which makes Ghosts completely useless against Psychic types.

    Why Gyarados is part Flying

Ok, I can't remember where I saw this as it was a long time ago but I've heard Gyarados was originally Water/Dragon but programming issues prevented those two types to be on one Pokemon. The fact that Dratini, a Pokemon that really looks like it is a Water type, is only Dragon, kinda supports that.

Aradactyle (sp) was the only Pokemon on RBY that was not a bird that can learn fly.

probably due to balance... they didn't have anough solid counters to ghost so they must've made it poison to make sure it had some weaknesses.

Really? I thought it was because there are too many places you can get a gyarados.

    Maybe it fell over backwards.

There were no steel types in Generation 1. Duh.

Sorry no. Steel types cannot be poisoned in 3rd or 4th gen games (GBA/DS games at least).

I used Twineedle 100+ times on Aggron, and no poison. My Nidoking endured many Metal Claws, but my Metang was never poisoned.

    Gyarados being flying is
    1. Because of the japanese legend its based on. Check any 'pokemons type you would change' thread, and you will see several people explain the legend to noobs. Personally, i dont remember it exactly, so i can't post it here.
    2. Because it is NOT a friggin' dragon!

In Silver the Pokedex says that if Igglybuff starts bouncing it can not stop.
HOWEVER, in Crystal it says that Igglybuff bounces instead of walking.

Ditto cannot breed with other ditto.
Theoretically, a Smeargle could become typeless for a turn if it used Conversion or Conversion2 to assume the Flying type, then used Roost. However, this is unconfirmed.

According to my brother's strategy guid for Red/Blue the Pidgey family can learn Self-Destruct and Egg Bomb through TM. Also Voltorb and Electrode can't learn Rage.

No. In Gen I, they DID NOT THINK ABOUT BALANCE. Never suggest such a foolish idea again. Need proof? Mewtwo.

Also, to not make this spam, Kingdra is the only Non-poison pokemon to have the Poison-point ability.

There was originally a Kangaskhan pre-evo in r/b, and was even programmed into the game, but was made unavailable for some reason. It's still programed in, but the only way to access it is through the missing no. glitch.

If you catch M' (missing no. lv 0) and level it up, it will evolve into Kangaskhan.

Maybe that's why they made Chatot Flying/Normal instead of pure Flying after all!

That sounds cool. I've heard many thing of first being in one generation and then just left out because of programming issues.
