It's a frekaing sub forum on a Pokemon forum.

IT IS NOT A FORUM EXCLUSIVELY DEDICATED TO WRITTEN ARTS AND THEIR IMPROVEMENTS.

God. We already make sure people have the decency to relate their posts to what they've read and to stop being so lazy as it is.

Reading comprehension. Learn it.

Reviews primarily are crit but not everybody is able to so simply say what they liked a lot which is a BIG help. Tells a writer what they're doing right...

Now please, stop running round in circles complaining about your own lack of reviews as this is getting stupid now. I will infract if I have to. This is your last warning.

so, if i want to add a fanfic and I already found someone who corrected my mistakes, than the only thing i do, is to open a new thread and add my stories like i do when i post something?

And how do i put them into one of the different kategories?

No Children under 17 admitted. Typically used for pornography.

But yeah, I struggle to see how you could get an NC-17 rating for violence in writing unless you are a very, very broken/twisted individual. And at that point you should be asking whether or not this violence has literary merit beyond "LOOK AT HOW GRIMDARK I'M BEING" anyway.

See, I think thats the problem; there is no point to the violence besides, to use incorrect english, "LOOK AT HOW MUCH BLOOD AND GORE THERE IS LOL". I think that some parts of that violence just cross into "idiotic" territory; In other words, that's where it gets way too ridiculous to be taken seriously.

Thanks but I have one question. What if I don't have word? I don't have Microsoft Word so I can never tell how many pages there is. I write most of the time in Notepad for my fanfictions. So can you tell me? I got a shipping fic i want to post - shipping being PiplupXchimchar (Dawn's Piplup and Ash's Chimchar) - and I don't know how I can post without Word.
The Shipping I'm using in there I made up because Ash's Chimchar reminds me of the Chimchar Dawn could have chosen to be her partner and he looked depressed to see piplup. There is also the fact on what could be the reason the Zangoose were attacking him. I have actually made it seemed, in this couple fic, that those were Shadow Pokemon, you know from Pokemon XD. Just Chimchar doesn't know it.

A quick Google search gave me this to calculate how many words your story is. You can assume that one page in Word amounts to 500 words or so and use that.

Thank You for the help. This is the greatest thing I can get to help me write my Fan Fictions. I made my story happen after The Grand Festival and Ash beating Champion Cythnia. He did it with Grotle having evolved into a Torterra and having his charizard from the Ichigo League that Professor Oak brought him. So he has charizard and all his old pokemon are going to work with him against The Shadow Pokemon and their master Givoanni partnered with Team Rocket.

Now say we write a fanfic that has relationships in it. Say, a pretty dominant thing. Can that go here or does it belong in the shippers community fanfic area?

Or is the shipping there between two characters of the anime exclusively.

Or it doesn't really matter?

Trying to figure that out.

The general rule of thumb is that if this ship is the most central theme of the story, making the fic more character-driven than plot-driven, it should go in Shipping. If the relationship itself isn't really the most important thing, or you're more exploring the circumstances of it rather than the relationship itself, it should be fine here. Feel free to PM a Mod if you want a second opinion (but heads-up; if you send it to me, I may take awhile to reply :x).

Just thinking, because I like romance and want it to be in most of my writings, and was wondering if it came up where it would go. It wont be dominant, but apparent and even open (no hinting.)
