So I kept forgetting to update my current FR run.. So basically:

I recently defeated my rival before Victory Road with my entire team with levels of 45. However, I was nearly defeated by him, and thus, I decided to train to level 50 in Victory Road before I entered it completely. From there, I got through the gates and began to train. Although not much happened, I managed to train my team to level 50, except Korrina (Dragonair) before quitting.

    Team so far:

    Pandora, level 50
    Magnus, level 50
    Retrospect, level 50
Korrina, level 46 (Wish she'd evolve earlier)
    Adamantium, level 50
    Rhea, level 50
This is Bidoof. Many people loathe it with their lives. If you are of the few people who love this little beaver, put this in your sig. Started by Earth Wolf-Howl (formerly Warrior Scolipede)

    FC: 2707-2741-9594
    Friend Safari: Sunkern, Sawsbuck, Maractus

    I have claimed Pyroar!

I battled a Gym trainer inside the Pewter City Gym and then I had to leave to heal my team since I didn't want to battle against Brock with injured Pokemon. I returned shortly after purchasing Potions at the Poke Mart and I finally challenged Brock. I sent out my Pidgey first, but its attacks weren't very effective against Brock's Geodude. I sent out Bulbasaur when it became apparent that I wasn't going to win with Pidgey. I beat Geodude and faced off against Brock's Onix after that, which was a lot harder. Bulbasaur weakened it, but Onix attacked after that. I used my Pidgey as a distraction while I healed Bulbasaur, then I defeated Onix with another attack. I won the Boulder Badge from Brock after that and saved.

I left the Pewter City Gym after I received the Boulder Badge. I healed my team at the local Pokemon Center and then I shopped for items at the Poke Mart. Once that was done, I headed east to Route 3. I got the Running Shoes right before that and I ran around the route while battling trainers there. I was able to level up my Pokemon thanks to those battles and Bulbasaur evolved into Ivysaur. I wandered around Route 3 after I defeated the trainers there and I eventually arrived at the Pokemon Center near Mt. Moon. I healed my team and then I bought a Magikarp from a salesman. I deposited it in my PC and I entered Mt. Moon. I captured a wild Zubat in the entrance and then I started to battle against trainers.

Restarting FireRed... yay? I watched a random episode of Pokemon Orange one day where Ash met his Lapras, and thought maybe I could raise a Lapras... so yeah.

Picked up Bulbasaur as the starter and named him Bulbs (original, I know). Trained a little bit and decided on Mankey (Chops) as the second team member. Got through Viridian, fought Gary, and entered Viridian Forest. Caught a Caterpie and Weedle there, just to get some data in the Pokedex (to get Flash later on >_>). And a Pikachu. Trained a bit more until Bulbs and Chops are at L14, and challenged Brock.

Then I got the Running Shoes, and decided to get a Clefairy as the third party member. After some time spent killing Zubats and Geodudes, I found a Clefairy and caught her. Thought a bit for her name, and settled for Cottonball. Idk why.

Now training Cottonball to bring her up on par with the rest of team members (L17), then I'll continue through Mount Moon and to Cerulean.

I wandered around Mt. Moon and I battled trainers as well as wild Pokemon. I captured a Paras as I got deeper inside the cavern, then I headed downstairs. I encountered a wild Clefairy, but I ran out of Poke Balls so I wasn't able to catch it. I eventually ran into some Team Rocket grunts who were looking for fossils and I battled against them. I continued to battle trainers and then I reached a spot with two fossils. I was going to pick one up, but a Super Nerd appeared and he wanted to battle me for the fossils. I defeated him and then I got the Dome Fossil. I headed towards the exit of Mt. Moon and then I arrived at Route 4. I headed easy towards Cerulean City and I healed my Pokemon at the Cerulean City PC.

So I got Cottonball up to L17 and continued through Mt. Moon to Cerulean. Trained a bit more until my team is at ~L20, and went to the bridge to stomp challenge Gary and the other Trainers. Caught an Abra for future trade, and also a Spearow. Also caught a Meowth for traveling purposes later (Cut and Flash) and Pickup. Then helped Bill changed back to his, er, human form, and got the S.S Ticket.

Next, I challenged Misty. Nothing really hard. Staryu went down with two Mega Punches from Cottonball and Starmie to Razor Leaf from Bulbs. I headed to Vermillion next and cleared the trainers around that area. Got the VS Seeker and been abusing that until I got my team to L29. Neat stuff. Then went on the boat, cleared the trainers, and got Cut. Traded Abra and Spearow for Mr. Mime and Farfetch'd, and challenged Lt. Surge afterwards.

Got through Rock Tunnel without much trouble. Decided to teach Rock Slide to Chops. Reached Lavender, met Gary again then went on my way to Celadon. Caught a Growlithe along the way as well, will evolve once I get the Fire Stone from the store in Celadon.

Once I healed my Pokemon at the Cerulean PC, I headed out to explore the city. I purchased items before I challenged the Gym. Once that was done, I entered the Cerulean City Gym and I battled against the Gym trainers and their Water-types inside and then I got to Misty's spot. I challenged her and she sent out her Staryu first. I was prepared for that with my Paras. I had it use Stun Spore to paralyze Staryu and then I sent out my Pikachu. I defeated Misty's Staryu with Thundershock, but then I had to battle against her Starmie. I used Pikachu against it, but Starmie defeated it with Water Pulse. I used Paras after that, but it only managed to use Poisonpowder before being defeated. I had to use Ivysaur instead.

Got to Celadon and visited the Mart, got the Stones and evolved Growlithe and Pikachu I caught from earlier on. Then I got the Coin Case and looked around the Game corner to get free hidden coins. Bought some more to 4500, purchased Shadow Ball TM and taught it to Cottonball. Now I'm just waiting for her to get Meteor Mash before evolving her to Clefable. Also got an Eevee. Not that I'm raising one but filling up the Dex.

Cleared up Rocket Base and recovered the Silver Scope. Challenged Erika, cleared the Pokemon Tower and got Fly (in no particular order). Caught one Snorlax and killed the other; got the Leftovers after that. Then cruised along Cycling Road to get to Fuchsia.

Next step, Surf and Koga! Then getting Lapras afterwards :3 Been thinking for names, might actually name him/her Drizzles. Unless I come up with a better name after this.

After getting the Cascade Badge and the Water Pulse TM from Misty, I left the Gym and I healed my Pokemon at the Cerulean City Pokemon Center. I bought a couple more Poke Balls at the Poke Mart, then I headed north. I encountered my rival again before I was allowed to pass though and I battled against him. I defeated him and then I healed my Pokemon once again at the PC. I finally arrived at the bridge and I battled against the trainers there. I then arrived at Route 25 and I went east since I had to visit Bill's Cottage. I battled tons of trainers on the way there and then I finally reached the end of Route 25. I walked into Bill's Cottage and I helped him with one of his experiments. I saved after I got the S.S. Ticket.

Went into the Safari Zone and got the... Gold Teeth. Actually ran out of steps the first time around since I went and got all the other stuffs first, so had to spend another 500 PokeDollars to get Surf and the Teeth. Also caught some Pokemon in there; 2 Nidorino (one for trading, another one for evolving), Exeggcute, and (with luck) Chansey and Venomoth.

I trained some more afterwards, and challenged Koga when my team was ~L46. Wasn't a particularly hard gym. Eh. Next I flew to Saffron and started the purification clearing the Silph Co. building. Went through floor by floor until finally I met Gary again. Aaaaaand I got Lapras after that :3 Named her Drizzles (no other name came to mind) and went out of the building for a bit. I didn't go through Silence Bridge when I was going to Fuchsia, so I trained Lapras along that route. I taught her Surf, Psychic and Thunderbolt. She grew from L25 to L39 (Ice Beam yeay), then I resumed my cleansing adventure in the Silph Co. building. Drizzles handled Nidorino, Nidoqueen and Rhyhorn on her own, but I sent out Chops against Kangaskhan. That done, I got the Master Ball from the President.

Next step: the Fighting Dojo and Sabrina.

I might actually go and use the Vs Seeker on the trainers to get Lapras on par with my other team members, who are at L50. And buy a Flamethrower TM for Cottonball. I should have enough money now.

I exited Bill's Cottage after I got the S.S. Ticket. I headed back to Cerulean City and I healed my Pokemon at the Pokemon Center since they were injured from my previous battles. Once that was done, I went to visit a house that had been robbed by Team Rocket. I climbed through the hole and I battled against a Team Rocket grunt outside. I got the Dig TM from him after I defeated him, then I headed south to Route 5. I battled wild Pokemon in the tall grass and I visited the Day Care. I left my Ratatta there and then I entered the Underground Path. I headed south until I reached the southern entrance and I arrived at Route 6. I battled some wild Pokemon in the tall grass there and then I saved before moving on.

    Wheee. Level grinding.

I got the Flamethrower TM for Clefable. But haven't gotten around to teaching her that yet, as of now. I actually want to use Moonlight once in a battle before replacing it. XD I also got a Yellow Flute from the Game Corner as well. Seeing that I am training Lapras with all the trainers and getting all the money (Amulet Coin ftw~!) I might actually save some more money and buy a few Pokemon from the Game Corner as well, to fill up the Dex.

Back to training Drizzles. She's at L47 now, 3 more levels to catch up to the team. I've been running through the routine of Celadon - Cycling Road - Fuchsia - up the Silent Bridge and flew back to Celadon. The two couples on Cycling Road and that route just after / before Fuchsia have been giving me a lot of experience, but so have other trainers with Fearows and Weezings.

I arrived in Vermilion City after training on Route 6 and I visited the Pokemon Center in order to heal my team, then I visited the Poke Mart in order to buy items. I wandered around town a bit more after that and I talked to various NPCs. I visited the Pokemon Fan Club and I got a Bike Voucher from the chairman. Once that was done, I headed over to the port and I showed the S.S. Ticket to a man there and I was allowed on the S.S. Anne. I entered the cabins when I arrived and I battled against trainers. I also visited the kitchens and I got some items from the trash cans. I visited the deck of the ship afterwards and then I headed down to the sailors' cabins in order to battle against them. After I defeated them all, I saved the game.

I restarted the game just because I would like to give myself a speed test although I have played this game many times before. I started off with a male character in Fire Red and picked the Water type starter Zenigame which is the easiest to finish the game fast. I easily taken out the Fushigidane easily without the need of the potion. Then I head off to Tokiwa City and fortunately I did not encounter any wild Pokémon when I was travelling. I saved the game after I got a Zukan.

I defeated Sailors inside the S.S. Anne and then I healed my Pokemon again. I wandered over to the captain's room, but I was stopped in the hallway by my rival who wanted to have another battle with me. I battled against him and I won that battle. I entered the captain's room after that and I helped him get over his seasickness. I got the Cut HM from him and then I left the S.S. Anne. It sailed away and I ran to the Vermilion City Pokemon Center to swap Pokemon. I taught Cut to my Paras and then I headed over to the Vermilion City Gym. I cut down the tree in front of the Gym and I entered it. I had to navigate around the Gym while battling Gym trainers and I also had to find the hidden switches inside the trash cans.

I got Drizzles up to L50, and we challenged the Fighting Dojo as well as the Saffron Gym. I picked up Hitmonchan for the prize Pokemon before depositing him in the PC and finished the gym challenge afterwards. One of the battles I had in the Saffron Gym had me switching out every other turn because the Channeler's Gastly kept trying to Destiny Bond me >.> After 5 turns it stopped though and I was able to kill him. Most of Sabrina's Pokemon got one-shot except Alakazam, who took 2 Surfs from Drizzles.

After that, I flew to Pellet (Pellet? Pallet? Idk) Town and surfed southwards to get to Cinnabar. Found a few Trainers along the way; there's 2 particular swimmers who'll be my Vs. Seeker-trainers later on (one of them has a Starmie that gives 1600 exp. points ^.^ ).

Reached Cinnabar Island, and did a few trades to get Electrode and Tangela, then I revived the two fossils. Explored the Pokemon Mansion afterwards; got a whole bunch of stat-raising items. I also caught Koffing, Weezing and Ditto while in there. After getting all the stuffs and the Key, I used Escape Rope and started training again. I was planning to get my team to at least L54 before challenging Blaine, which is only 1 level up from my current party.

I caught two Pokémon which are mainly used as HM slaves, namely Poppo and Koratta. Met them in succession and I somehow caught it quite luckily without weakening the Pokémon first. Then I head to the forest but unfortunately the old man teach me how to catch a Pokémon which wasted some of my time since I have played the game for more than 10 times. I do mean that because I play Pokémon games again and again when I am bored. Rushed through the forest and got some potions and doku keshi. Avoided all but one trainers from battling who is unavoidable. Finally I reached Nibi City while my Zenigame is at level 8.

I unlocked the doors at the Vermilion City Gym. I then talked to Lt. Surge and we began to battle. He sent out his Voltorb first and I used my Geodude. Geodude had the type advantage and I won that battle easily thanks to its Magnitude. I had to battle against Lt. Surge's Pikachu afterwards and I also defeated it with Geodude's Magnitude attack. Lt. Surge's Raichu was more of a challenge though. I used Paras against it, but I only managed to Paralyze it with Stun Spore before Raichu defeated it with Quick Attack. I used Ivysaur after that and I barely managed to win that match. I obtained the Thunder Badge and the Shock Wave TM from Lt. Surge after that and then I left the Gym. I healed my Pokemon at the local Pokemon Center.

After arriving Nibi City gym, it was a close battle between me and the trainer before Takeshi. This battle is necessary in order to gain some experience or otherwise I will lose against Takeshi. After that I challenge Takeshi, the Nibi gym leader who specialise Iwa type. Since Zenigame is a Mizu type so I do have an advantage. But at the start of the battle my Zenigame has only got half HP left and therefore this battle is also a close call. I seldom go to the Pokémon centre in order to save time. Fortunately Iwark's Ganseki Fuji missed and hence I took it out. Now my Zenigame has grew to level 13. Received a TM called Ganseki Fuji but I sold it at the mart and exchange for some healing potion and more importantly, few sprays that is crucial to avoid random battles.

Aaand done. Blaine... wasn't much of a challenge. I guess there's the level gap but oh well. After exiting the gym, Bill came and offered a ride to One Island, which I accepted. I finished the three islands sidequest and found Lostelle, and also went to Mt. Ember to meet Moltres. I didn't battle it yet though seeing that I have to stock up on Balls first. I will get the birdies someday though. I also caught a few Pokemon in the islands, namely Ponyta and Golducks. I trained one Golduck so it gained a level and evolved, which I later used to trade for Lickitung. The other Golduck is now part of my main team, having it learn Rock Smash and Strength, and Waterfall to come after this. I also traded Ponyta for Seel with the guy in the Cinnabar lab.

After returning to the main part of Kanto, I decided to clear up the way to Seafoam Islands as well. Mainly lower level Pokemon eating up Thunderbolt PP, but eh. I'd go back to the islands to Vs. Seeker anytime. I got my whole team to L58, then saved. I might go train some more before challenging Giovanni, or... not. His levels are even lower than Blaine's, so I don't think he'll pose that much of a threat. And I can't wait to get the Earthquake TM for Chops. :3

After getting a pair of running shoes from the assistant, I head towards Hanada City via Mountain Otsukimi. Again this time I only fight against the trainers who are unavoidable. The sprays are pretty useful as they helped me to avoid unwanted battles as I pass through. After defeating the only Rocket member and the scientist, my Zenigame evolved into a Kameil and I arrived Hanada city with my Kameil being exhausted from the battle.

I went into Viridian Gym with my team at ~L58. Cleared the trainers, fought Giovanni and got the Earthquake TM. Woooo. Now it's taking a place in Primeape's moveslot, replacing (finally) the loyal Karate Chop after a long journey. I then headed to the Elite Four. Met Gary once more and... well, he wanted to see if I was ready for the E4 so I showed him I did. Being defeated without being able to get one hit in must have hurt, doesn't it? I then continued on, showing the guards all my badges and cruising through. Found a few hidden items, mostly Ultra Balls and berries along the way to Victory Road. Then I went inside Victory Road and moved boulders to pass through. Those trainers really gave nice amount of Exp. Points. Too bad Vs. Seeker can't be used inside caves =|

I emerged from the Victory Road with 2 of my Pokemon at L60 (Drizzles and Bulbs) and another two (Cottonball and Chops) at L59, so I went in, healed, went back in Victory Road and killed a few Onix and Geodude until I got all my team at L60. Then I got some curative items and got ready for the E4. Aaaand that's it. I don't feel like grinding anymore so I'm just going in at L60. For the first time ever in the game, 2 of Gary's Pokemon will outlevel me. XD

    Next step: Lorelei.

I bought items at the Poke Mart after I beat Lt. Surge, then I went to Route 11 to train my Pokemon against the trainers in the area. I managed to defeat all the trainers and then I returned to the Vermilion City Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon again. I went north afterwards and I used the Underground Path to travel to Route 5. I arrived in Cerulean City shortly after that and I cut down the tree that was blocking the path to Route 9. I arrived at the mountain path and I started battling against the trainers in the area. I had to return to Cerulean City to heal my Pokemon in between battles, but I eventually arrived at the entrance to Rock Tunnel. I swapped Pokemon in the Pokemon Center then I entered the cave.

Before I actually reached the city I met two move teaching guys. One teaches Megaton Panchi and the other teaches Megaton Kikku. My Kameil forgot two water type move to replace these. Then I went to the mart and bought some potions. Went to the Hanada gym then I dodged the trainers since it was unnecessary to battle. Now I took charge of Kasumi with my Kameil is only at level 18 which is still quite risky because her Starmie is strong.
