I can finally post in this thread again after focusing only on my Platinum for the last 6 months. Here's the most recent stuff. I decided to go through the game without a definite plan, and just use pokemon I want to use, and I will try for once to avoid looking for good natures or abilities, unless maybe in a severe case like a Brave Abra, which is the worst possible nature for it. Anyway, I'm using my FireRed, and here we go!

Started, named myself Ben, and chose Squirtle. I beat my rival pretty easily, and caught a Spearow and a Caterpie. Currently looking for a Pikachu.

Once I find a Pikachu and train them all to lvl 15, I'll challenge Brock.

I finally found a Pikachu, and trained it up to lvl 10 along with the rest. I beat Robert my rival easily, Pikachu taking down Pidgey and Spearow taking down Bulbasaur. Just made it through Viridian Forest, everyone is lvl 13. Will train everyone to lvl 15, and then sweep Brock. Can't wait for the Running Shoes.

I just beat Brock really easily with Squirtle and his Water Gun. OHKOd both of them. Now I am on the way to Mt. Moon, skipping trainers to go catch a Paras. Just caught a Paras, and leveled it up in Mt. Moon, and beat some of the trainers I skipped. I made it to Cerulean, and trained them to lvl 20 outside Cerulean. Dropped Butterfree in the PC, and beat Misty really easily. Paras soloed both of them with a combo of Poisonpowder, Bullet Seed, and Leech Life. I also beat Gary, he also was very easy. I skipped most of the trainers, and got a pokemon with Cut from LeafGreen. Skipped more trainers, and caught a Diglett. I am currently training him against skipped trainers.

after replacing a dry battery, i started my leafgreen again. i chose squirtle, bought that $500 magikarp, caught a dragonair, and now im going for my 8th badge. basically, im doing a quick run through to get the 3 leggendary beasts so im gonna restart again after i complete this game.

Defeated all the trainers at Route 3. My Squirtle evolved into Wartotle. After that, I saved my game around the Pokemon Center outside Mt. Moon.

I restarted my Pokémon Leafgreen a couple weeks ago to play through again and I am currently about to catch Suicune. I beat the Elite 4 shortly after I restarted (I fly through Pokémon games) and stopped playing for a while because I got bored, then I picked it up recently and found the Ruby and Sapphire to enable the trade system to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. After I catch Suicune I just need to get Mewtwo and then I would have caught all the legendary Pokémon in FR/LG.

After I trained Diglett to lvl 25, I challenged Lt. Surge, and crushed him with Diglett. Healed, and headed for Rock Tunnel. Skipped a lot of trainers in Rock Tunnel and Route 10, and caught a Growlithe. Trained him up to the rest of my team, and then trained them all up to lvl 30. I challenged Erika, and Growlithe swept her with Ember. Just about to clear out the Game Corner, then go catch Snorlax.

Okay today I caught Suicune, trained my Pokemon for a very short while, caught Mewtwo (With a great ball and without damaging it at all xD) and I hatched an egg. The egg was a Magby. Next I am going to train my Pokemon for a while and then go battle the E4 for a second time.

I cleared out the Game Corner earlier today, and got the Silph Scope. I went to Pokemon Tower, and got the PokeFlute. Caught the Snorlax on the 3rd try, and trained them all to level 35, along with an Exeggcute I caught in the Safari Zone. Exeggcute somehow managed to solo Koga with Psychic, after a lot of critical hits and Leech Seed. Afterwards I got Surf from the Safari Zone, taught it to Blastoise, and went to Cinnibar, skipping trainers. I "unfroze" Aerodactyl, and then caught a Magnemite in the Power Plant. Trained both to lvl 35, and saved.

Btw, while training Aerodactyl on Route 9, I FOUND A SHINY QUIRKY RUN AWAY FEMALE RATTATA!!! Its my 3rd 3rd Generation shiny, and the first one I've found on FireRed or LeafGreen, the others were on Ruby and Emerald.

-Beat all the trainers including some Team Rocket Grunts in Mt. Moon. Obtained Dome Fossil.
-Arrived at Cerulean City.
-Kicked my rival's butt once again. Obtained Fame Checker from him.
-Defeated all the trainers at Route 24.
-My Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto.
-Obtained S.S. Ticket from Bill.
-Challenged Cerulean Gym. When I was battling Misty, I used my Pidgeotto against her Staryu. Luckily, my Pidgeotto's Quick Attack received a critical hit and KO'd Staryu. After that, my Wartotle's Bite 2HKO'd Misty's Starmie. Finally, won the second badge.

After I got over the excitement of finding a shiny Rattata, I backtracked to the route between Lavender and Fuschia, and beat all the trainers. Flew to Saffron, and healed. Cleared out the Dojo, and then went to Silph Co. Thanks to the Card Key, I avoided the hassle of warp pads, and cleared the building. I beat my rival very easily, and got a Free Lapras! Beat Giovanni too, thanks to Exeggutor and his Giga Drain/Psychic combo. Afterwards I healed, and beat the trainers at the Gym, and after much wasted time, energy, and patience, I found Sabrina. Thanks to Snorlax's naturally high Special Defense, Attack, and her pokemon stating up in the face of danger, I had a new badge.

Okay today I caught a Larvitar (Lvl. 15) and then trained it up to level 55 for it to evolve into Tyranitar. Thats pretty much all I did today. xD (I was at school most of the day. >.>)

After I beat Sabrina with Snorlax, I flew to Fuschia, and Surf'd from there to the Seafoam Islands, beating all the triainers. I got my team to lvl 44/45, and cleared out the Pokemon Mansion, and then the Gym Trainers. Afterwards I healed everyone, and challenged Blaine, and Blastoise OHKO'd them all with Surf.

For the first time ever, I've just beaten the second wave of the Elite 4. Never bothered with them in any of my previous files, but ages ago I decided to have a go and began to raise a Magneton and Arcanine to go with my Blastoise. Stopped playing for ages, then picked the game up yesterday. Today, my Blastoise hit L100 and my Arcanine/Magneton were both L60, so I decided to have a quick run, see how far I could make

Lorelei- Magneton 2 hit KO'd Dewgong and Lapras and 1 hit KO'd Cloyster. Blastoise killed Piloswine, and Arcanine Flame Wheel'd Jynx into oblivion (as it was just a test, I hadn't added TM moves to either Arcy or Magne).

Bruno- Blastoise killed as these in one or two hits.

Agatha- Again, Blastoise dealt with all of these. He nearly got beaten, but survived with only a few HP against her L70 Gengar (limited healing items, so I wasn't healing them between battles).

Lance- Gyarados killed Magneton in one shot. I switched in Blastoise and spammed Bite until it died. Ice Beam'd the Dragonites, Bite spam again for Kingdra and Surf for Aerodactyl. Hmm.

Kaz- Arcanine Flame Wheel'd Heracross, who Rock Tomb'd, then outsped and KO'd with Earthquake. Blastoise came in and killed it with Surf. Out came Tyranitar, died to Surf. Scored a critical hit on Venusaur with Ice Beam. Alakazam went down to Bite. Gyarados was a little ****. Spammed Bite as it used Dragon Dance, sacrificed Blastoise so I could heal with a Max Repel. Hyper Beam missed against my Lapras so I chose Perish Song and crossed my fingers. It chose Earthquake, so I brought Blastoise back in and resumed Bite spam. When it finally died, Arcanine died to Surf.

Haha, both Arcanine and Magneton proved pretty useless in the end. But levelling in this game is so irritating, so I'm glad I don't have to do it any more.

After I beat Blaine, I beat any trainers I missed, and followed Bill to the Sevii Islands. Did all the stuff there, and beat the trainers in the Gym, and healed. I challenged Giovanni with Exeggutor, as he OHKO'd his team with either Psychic or Giga Drain. Afterwards I healed, and beat my rival.

-Went into S.S. Anne. Beat all the trainers. Kicked my rival's butt once again.
-Received HM01 - Cut from the captain.
-Made a Meowth as my HM slave.
-My Rattata evolved into Raticate
-Received Bike Voucher from the Chairman of Pokemon Fan Club. Exchanged the voucher with the bike shop in Cerulean City for a bicycle.
-Challenged Vermillion Gym. I used a Diglett to KO Lt. Surge's Voltorb and Pikachu. Used my Raticate to defeat his Raichu. In the end, defeated Lt. Surge and obtained the third badge.
-Obtained HM05 - Flash.
-Obtained Old Amber in Pewter Museum.
