Well, it most likely was his fault to begin with.

But that seems like a good option. May seems like she'd let things go after a good laugh.

I think Ash would try his best to get back into May's good graces. But her food, take her shoping, the works.

As for the Manahphy thing, Ash essentially is the dad since he is "King of the Sea" and Manaphy is "Prince." I think both would blush. May would try to get Manaphy off the topic and Ash would look helpless.
