Hmm, that sounds about right, alhtough I'll be honest and say I don't particularly see Ash wanting to do that to himself. I think he'd definitely mourn, but I don't think he'd go to such drastic measures. I don't think May would want that to happen at all.

May would definitely be disappointed, annoyed, and angered at first, especially because she'd feel humiliated. But once he apologizes a bunch and makes it up to her, I think she'd understand. xD

Yep, that was the idea. I live about 8 miles away from Sandy Hook El, and was in school 15 miles away when it happened. I can say after seeing the size of the memorials was amazing. On Christmas, there was a memorial on the side of a street that spanned a quarter of a mile.
Anyways, to try to lighten the mood, concerns afterwards of students of my school, 15 miles away: Why the **** didn't we lockdown? Thoughts of the students of Newtown HS: I got escorted to the potty by the FBI!
Thank you for the support in the fanfic, and knowing my update schedule it will be months until we get to that point.

Sorry for the double post, but it has been a few days and this is a change that wouldn't flow too well with my previous post.

Well, knowing Ash he probably won't say something mushy like "I Love You" or something like that. If the question is about when they are still ten, at least according to what the anime at the begining of Unova region stated, then he would probably say something in his own way that May will understand what he was trying to say. Most likely to do with his Pokemon since he has a strong bond with them and if he tells May something like he cares about her like how he cares for his Pokemon, then May might understand him.

If May is the one who would confess, then she would blush and stutter her confession, which Ash might at first get confused, but maybe eventually get the hint or the meaning behind her confession.

Well most songs of AG were really nicely written. In fact, the movie soundtrack to all the pokemon movies are nicely composed. To bad not much of my music friends share the same passion. They see pokemon as a children show so they don't take in the beauty of such wonderful composed soundtracks.

Hm, well "I'll take care of you" by Richard Poon is nice, buts its rather a slow ballard so some might not like it. But the lyrics of the song really fit AS. "ll take care of you. Don't be sad. Don't be blue. Just count on me."

I would definitely go with Advanced Challenge theme song. That is one of my top Pokemon Themes, Advanced shipping was my childhood for a good amount of time. That was the song that i loved the most, and i still love it today.

Let me think about that............................. ah now I know You Shook Me all Night Long by AC/DC because that band is awesome. but then again most of my answers involving music will always be with Metallica, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Bon Jovi. speaking more of music, other songs i would choose is A Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin and Gun's n Roses Sweet Child o' Mine.

When I came up with the question, I meant official Pokemon songs, but thanks to all who contributed.
Now that I think about it, I Want to be a Hero (Advanced) is about how far Ash has advanced in Pokemon and personal development, and how he still has a lot more to learn. I Want to be (May's) Hero?
This Dream (Advanced Challenge) describes how Ash and May stay so close because of "this dream". "Winners may have come and gone" describes that May is confirmed to have had past crushes, and "This dream keeps us together, this dream will never die, we will rise above the challenge every time" could refer to Drew and Misty not becoming an obstacle in pursing each other. "To listen to that voice inside" might refer to love.
Unbeatable (Advanced Battle) could mean that they both have overcome their competition and haven't been split up yet, especially since it has been proven multiple times that Ash isn't unbeatable.
Well, that's just my theory, a Pokemon theory! Thanks for reading!

I think the song in question is "Together We Make a Promise" ending theme from Movie 9. More obscure than the examples you gave, but it's there nonetheless.

i love that for the super shippy moments of AS shipping. as for a theme song, i just always thought that "unbeatable" was the best AS song out of all four of them.

"they can never win but they sure can try." could mean obstacles (they) ash and may have to face in their relationship. "i'm unbeatable" could be ash and may incomplete harmony so that using "i" instead of "me" is acceptable. they can't be beat nor defeated because their love is strong. plus, it's just the best one. the song is fun and cool, and the video is the best because it has all the characters and final evo's and just everything.
