XD It's because a) Dento's a pretty boy, and b) he went on to have a different role (as travel companion) that'll probably be better remembered than his first one (as gym leader), similar to RPattinson going from cool wizard to lame vampire. Although admittedly Dento is less obnoxious, but ...
