...I think I need a serious retcon. Redo what I had to start with. Red (Fire) and Red (Classic) will simply go down to Red (game). *knuckle cracking* Back-tracking is due. Eliminate at all costs. And if I have to, smack (Special) to Red, Silver, Gold, etc (Green and Blue should be fine as is).

But yes, I think tagging the Reds is gonna have to happen. The incident with Messyshipping is just one of many, irony intended, messes. Unless it's obvious people use the first one they see on the list, which is usually the wrong one.

Been trying to think of what to do for Kamon for a while, since the whole "Kamon (Black)" thing was a compromise years ago. Can't go "Silver (game; Black)"; It's bad enough we got stuff like "Audrey (Kanto; Ada)" (which should be reversed).

Really going to hate a tag like Black (GB), with a Special!Black on the way (which means definitely another tag), really gonn need to figure out where those tags might go...bah.

I hate tags. Useful, but cluttery.

Ah. I use this list, which is just the updated form of that list that Toran both owns. I'm thinking something like a consensus was made by some of the higher-ups in the Shipping Community (like Toran, Vycksta, etc.), and then they changed Glistenshipping from Glaceon/Jirachi to Candice/Maylene.

Occasionally there are instances where a second name for a ship gets submitted to the list without people knowing. If two names are spotted for a pair and both submissions were made in the time that alternate ship names were first disallowed (( Which I believe to be sometime in 2007 )) then the second name gets nixed from the list and is free to grab.

That's what happened in this case. I spotted that Glaceon x Jirachi had two names, Toraphi nixed Glistenshipping as it was the second name and about three days later taitofan submitted it as the name for Candice x Maylene.

Hope that clears everything up.
