Because N/Touya was named long before the content of the game was known. It's Isshushipping.

Arti/Bel is Abelhashipping. The other three are currently thought to be unnamed.

Lacunosus is Latin for "full of holes" (referring to clouds in this context) and apparently means inability to stand up to challenges/scrutiny (not saying they can't, only referring to other occasions such as Bel requiring aid when her Munna's been kidnapped or something, and N...kind of breaks at the end of the main storyline, although granted he gets better.) Clouds also symbolise the element of air, which closely ties with intellectual ideas (N and his equations and yadda) and abstract thinking (Bel's the energetic, cheerful type who lives in her own world.)

You...actually would be jumping the gun, because if it is Roxanne, we already have Teachershipping (Steven/Roxanne). Meaning it couldn't be called Cowardiceshipping under any circumstance. If it's turns out to be someone Steven doesn't have a name with already, then you may call it Cowardiceshipping.

Any Shipping with a shorter name is fine by me. Some of the older Shippings seem to be getting renamed, such as Burningleafshipping, which I assume to be called Chessshipping now, which in turn is a shorter name. For the sake of Touya and Touko being the original main characters, it would only be logical for Cheren and Bel to stand in for them as new characters, which should help the Manga as well as Games, although if Kusaka did bring Red-kun and Blue-chan into the B/W arc, their relation to the game's original main characters would be much more obvious, even if Ash having the same new design wasn't enough. Cheren and Bel need a Shipping name. For the Game, (and possibly Anime,) a name in the same approach as Twinleafshipping should suffice, so I would call it Futabashipping for now, and change the starting town name when the english games are released. Let's call the Special's counterpart Childrivalshipping, similar to Oldrivalshipping.

BurningLeaf is Red/Leaf. Chess is Touko/Touya. (Red/Green from Special are Specialshipping.) Unrelated. No renaming. We don't do renaming as a general practice.

Futaba and Twinleaf refer to the same two characters: Dawn and Barry. There is no anime/game distinction between them; they're two different names for the same pairing. Platinum/Pearl is Haughtyshipping.

And once Cheren/Bel is officially named, it'll cover games, manga (every one they appear in), and anime (if they appear). One pairing, one name.

Throwing out a few suggestions.

Suggesting Rapunzelshipping for White(pokespecial!verse)/Cattleya, due to their hair being ridiculously long (I imagine it'll be that way for White if she ever lets her hair down.)

Perspicaciousshipping for Nejiki(Thorton)/Platinum? It basically means somewhere along the lines of being able to grasp situations clearly, and they're both smart to do so.

Manzaishipping for Diamond/Pearl/Fantina, since the former two do it and the latter really likes watching their double acts.

Aliasshipping for Yellow/N? Yellow did have a cover-up name of sorts Blue gave to her, and N probably has a name more than one letter.

Cynosureshipping for White/Platinum, in that they attract attention through brilliance/beauty/interest.

Lastly, Pearl/his Chatot - Garrulousshipping? Both like to talk.
