Well, Nintendo confirmed (at least in Emerald's Frontier) the buildings have higher luck, just to make game more "challenging". I bet they've kept it and the same for Platinum's Battle Area.

I was thinking maybe

1. Ninjask, speed/attack passer
2. Smeargle, magnet rise passer
3. Regigigas, immunity to ground, no slow start, and boosted attack and speed.

Seems good, but it obviously has flaws (i. e. Taunt, OHKO moves, priority...)

On the topic of what got me the highest, I actually only had 1 Pokémon that really did well, namely beating the first 21 (including Palmer) without help.
