The Fire-Gryphon-thing looks amazing. All the new contest entries are flawless, like the rest of you sprites. I would be very shocked if you made a sprite that someone could critsize.

A lot of your basic fusions are more or less elemental reposes, not so much fusions... but they're done well. :P

Your contest entries are absolutely fantastic lol.
    Great stuff overall.

When did you make the Fire-Gryphon thing? It's AMAZING! How did you make it? As a scratch?
I've been waiting for this for a long time...

I made the Griffon a while ago, originally the evo for Crimsie (the egg like thing).

As I said before it's pretty sweet. but it seems kinda strange that it goes from so simple to so complex. Is there a middle evo?

    Oh my, new sprites.

On the splice of Empoleon, Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, Dialga's crest just seems slapped on.

Also, the green rotomized Pokemon hurt my eyes, maybe lowering the saturation on the green areas a bit?

On the splice of Palkia and Milotic, one of the scales on the neck has a hole in the outline.

And still, your sprites are putting off extreme levels of awesomeness, try to fix that, kay?

In addition, how do you get the frames to do effects like vibrating from side to side or jumping?

    All for now.

Well, there isn't much you could really do to make the crest look not slapped on.

The rotomized pokemon were made using the official Rotom Mow form colors.

I haven't noticed the hole (yet I'm too lazy to change and since not many will notice it)

The vibration is basically the sprite changing from on position to another position the next frame and repeating the process. So the first frame, the sprite will be in the center, then in the second, it will be a few pixels to the right, then on the third frame, it will be a few pixels left, and so on.

You could take the crest from your Dialga scratch and place it in on the sprite.

Suddenly that reminds me of someone, but who? *thousands of signs appear around me, pointing to myself* I guess I'll never figure it out.

    *writes it down*

Hey guys, I haven't been on Sppf lately becuase my internet have been down. But here are some sprite updates. I have continued ripping some Platinum tiles and buildings and also reripped some Platinum tiles to replace the DP ones. I ripped all of Jubelife, Sandgem, Twinleaf, Floraroma, some stuffs in routes and Eterna forest. Enjoy! GIVE CREDIT IF USED ^^ (already had someone make a banner using one of my 3D art without giving credit)

    Very big file.

Ok, so I have ripped and edited more Platinum sprites and tiles and also reshaded some of the previous sprites. The ones on the bottom have both dark and light styles because in Platinum, there are shadows of trees in the forests and also highlights, so I included both. I still haven't decided if you guys (who use the tiles) would prefer the sprites to be separated into tiles or combined.

Put these to good use guys ^^ (Or just enjoy them)

As you see, I have been advertizing a new fangame in my sig called Pokemon Frozen Forest (Don't say anything about the name, I didn't create it) made by Marco (our programmer), Nevermore (Spriter), and me (All sorts of stuff).

    Main Legend:

Long ago, billions of years and eons ago, there existed a land north of the world, a massive land composed of ice, snow, and barren deserts of frozen rock concealed in a thick fog, unknown to the Pokemon planet and the outside universe itself. Strange Pokemon inhabit the region, dozens of unique species undiscovered by mankind and ruled by a great legend. A brave deity born of ice itself with long fangs and crystal white hide protecting the island with all of its power. Never has it fallen and never will it ever, for that is the reason why this beast is known as an Eternal Legend. Eternal, never born, never dying, never truly existing for anything. It was the time that the world began to rotate diversely and transform physics and reality. A faint light in the sky, a small star was visible in the distance; the Eternal legend could sense it in its ice.
A star of fire, a blazing falling rock surging toward the world with immense power that’s uncontrollably aiming at the Northern region. Intruding through the Ozone layer, it crashed into the center of the land, causing a huge explosion and a screech as loud as a sonic boom. The meteorite was as large as almost a tenth of the island, forming a striking crater in the interior of the region, wounding many Pokemon and shattering the surface and melting the ice bit by bit. All the Pokemon gathered in the center of the island to witness the star in awe, for none have seen any alike it. The Eternal Pokemon especially was troubled by the effect of the rock, for it would not be able to move within little cold. Without icy air, its body would become rougher and les slick, disabling any movement or effortless travel. The great beast knew that something must be done to protect the Pokemon and itself.
Using an abundant amount of energy, the Eternal Pokemon ceased time from passing, immobilizing the ice and rock from melting and eroding and preventing any further damage currently in progress. Subsequently, the deity forced all of its energy into the meteorite, bringing power and life to it. Instantly, the giant meteorite cracked and sent shards of the meteorite raining into the ground. Each separate seed sprouted and entangled each other, forming a secure cluster of enormous roots and branches. The ground deformed, platforms of rock and ice developed, and all at once, plateaus lifted up the Pokemon. With daze, the Pokemon glared up into the sky as they were encased within a giant tree that blocked heat from travelling in and the cold from escaping.
Without any energy left, The Eternal Pokemon summoned 3 Pokemon to guard the tree and one messenger Pokemon to report the surroundings. The trio created and guarded 3 orbs, a gold orb, silver orb, and bronze orb located in 3 separate areas of the land that created another barrier around the tree. Billions of years passed, and soon, the barrier surrounding the island wore off, and time slowly restarted to continue. More verdant trees grew, and new Pokemon migrated to the warmer region. The sun finally shone on the land, and the island no longer was the icy desert as it used to be. However, despite the change in environment, time and weather within the giant tree had never passed, and the Eternal deity still rests within its frozen forest, storing energy and waiting for its moment to recreate the island as it was before…

    Some sprites:

    The Trio of the Region

The role of the Trio in the game is to Guard the three Eternal Orbs, which are the key to unlocking the gateway to the tree's core. The Orbs are the Gold Orb, Silver Orb, and the Bronze Orb. Horus (The eagle-like legend with wings) guards the Silver Orb, Sobek (The Orange croc-like legend) Guards the Bronze Orb, and Anubis (The Gold canine-like legend) guards the Gold orb. Each orb is hidden inside a seperate temple up on a Mountain, in a Lake, and in a Desert. The trio looks after the orbs in a consealed form as a statue as shown above. They will transform when the orbs are removed from their rightful place.

Denrei (Messenger Pokemon and our main Legend)

Denrei is our main Legendary Pokemon and it serves the great Eternal Pokemon as a messenger Pokemon. It seeks out into the real world and gathers information about the present time and reports back to the Eternal Legend, sort of like a knight. It protects the region and the Eternal Pokemon. Denrei has two forms, an original form, and a minor alteration of its body when it enters the real world. Up above is the overworld of Denrei's original form.

    Professor Pine

Professor Pine is a famous field researcher who studies about climate, Pokemon, and a little of geology. She traveled to this region because of the abnormal climate changes and the mysterious Giant Tree.

    Hero and Heroine

You enter the game as the professor's proud assistant to help her in her studies. You will help record Pokemon data and also help her solve the mystery of the great Eternal Legend.

Gym Leader Sprites (WIP) And Badges

These are the Gym Leaders and their Badges. (From left to right) They are Trayton-Fissure Badge, Tesla-Citrine Badge, Mckenzie-Crimson Badge, Lynn-Tidal Badge, Karmen-Pine Badge, Krag-Mountain Badge, Briska-Snowflake Badge, and Tyson-Draco Badge.

I have been viewing your fangame since the day you started spriting for it and when you showed me your very first sketch of your legendary. I love the choice of detail and design on the Pokemon. I rarely have anything to say about your downs or faults and this time is no different, I am still truely amazed at how you sprite so fantastically. Your story of the trio reminds me two much of the Pokemon Ranger 2 storyline: 3 legends, gaurding 3 orbs that when combined open a source or leads to the end. I like the green and netting feel you have for your Hero and Heroine. The fact that Professor Pine follows on from the other professors are cool but the fact he hat is an acorn creeps me out completely and I think it is out of proportion because it sort of leans to the left. The gym leaders and badges are great, apart from the fact that I helped you with names and a few other things I would still be amazed if I saw them at random.

Fantastic work and as usual no flaws at all.

Thx, but Professor Pine isn't wearing a hat, she has a braid of her hair wrapped around her forehead xD

Perhaps it is the braids, they are hard to sprite. The sprite was also hard to fit in the size of Rowan's DP pixel-Art, it is even bigger actually.

What a coincidence, I recently decided to visit your deviant page, and was astounded. Now you post the story, so it all makes sence. I especially like the way the trio is named after Egyptian gods... makes a nice contrast to the icyness of your main legend.

Oh, a question. Is this 'eternal deity' capturable in the game, like Darkrai, shaymin, and arcuas, or not?

I feel stupid now, cause it took me a while to link together the fact it's the 'eternal' deity, and the fact it stopped time. I also like how the pokemon encased in the tree means a small bubble of space where pokemon are of a radiacaly different region than the area around it. I'm throughtly amazed, as always.

    See Ya Later~

PS: I realized this is like a exact opposite of my fake game. The region is newly discovered in your game, and in mine the region has been throughtly 'refined' for trainers... well, maybe the bad guys don't find it 'refined', but still! Quite a funny coincidence ^_^
"Open your mouth too wide, and your ears close."

Do you wish you could do things like in the anime?
Do you wish you could dodge behind a rock to avoid an attack?
Do you wish that you could use the arena to stop your opponents cold?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, the Pokemon Anime Style Battling League could be for you!
