bulbapedia says that paul's magmar was shown is this true?
Rivals of Old
Rivals a New
Yep its true which means pauls team will be changed and Cynthia will battle Aaron
One question! I can't really understand Japanese... thing is, when I'm impatient, I tend to watch the RAW versions =P So, was Paul's Torterra helping Ash's Grotle on its own will or did Paul ask it to do so or both? @.@ Confused there, other than that, I'm OK so far.

I think Paul knew that Torterra wanted to help, and told it to do so...Something like that.
Kingler, my friend. No matter what, you will always remain my favourite Water type. You shouldn't have missed out on the Sinnoh League and I look forward to seeing you again, hopefully in the near future.
There you are, I see you in the back there!
Despite the crappy looking preview, Kinoshita did a pretty decent job.
Great episode. I really felt sorry for Grotle while it was training by itself. It was also a very touching scene for both Grotle and Torterra.
Torterra teaching Grotle defensive techniques was a really nice touch, and now Grotle won't have to rely upon it's SUPA SPEEEDUU!
Poor Gliscor. :P
Sweet, the song "Because the Sky is There" played during Grotle's training.
No, it's the first ED from Advanced Generation.
By the way, the scene with Gliscor and Staravia from the preview was just them (and Dawn's Pokemon) attacking Pika, Buizel, and Chimchar for practice.
Swinub...:0
I keep forgetting you're here.
In kinda an odd Paul moment, Torterra, Magmar, and Gliscor are lounging around while Team Rocket appears to be pampering them...0.o

I'm inclined to agree. There were two ugly shots in the preview, Satoshi's face and the shot of Bouysel/Hiko/Pika lined up, but other than that there wasn't anything really badly drawn.
Anyway... This episode was really, really good. I felt sorry for Hayashigame, and that vocal BGM which played fitted very nicely.
Shinji should appear more than just once every 20 episodes. The episodes with him in are just so much better than a regular episode.
Paul actually showed a thread of Humanity its Miracle and if it happens again well then i will kill my self because its impossible
One thing I find hilarious. WHAT ON EARTH are TR there with Paul's Pokemon? They 'volunteered' to clean so that they can steal, or Paul's just "Whatever."???
The song, agreed, fitted great! Torterra helping was nice, using defense to tire down opponent, then all of a sudden... WHAM! Great tactic. ^^
And once again - agree. Of what? Of Paul appearing more than just every 20 eps or so. Ash just gets pumped up and there's more action.
*Scuttles of to watch again, LOL*
hmmm, so Gliscor knows Sandstorm?

Yeah.
Pretty sure Gligar used it once.
- Grotle's voice and behavior kinda makes me think its older (by age) than your average Pokemon. I kinda like the new voice to be honest.
- I think we'll eventually get a back story for Torterra. It seems like it can relate to Grotle's problem.
- Buizel scored a new point on its Ugly Level. Hooray!![]()
And here I thought that connection would never be raised again....EDIT: I see Cythia used Gastrodon against Aaron. Also, apparently Brock talked to Shinji about Reiji not having the last Frontier Symbol which I guess is a big plotpoint. Brandon for daddy? Yes!
Perhaps a reasoning to go to the Sinnoh BF at the end of the Sinnoh League?
