A couple of times before but I am considering doing it a bit more now.

Pokedex progress
Diamond: N'tl: 490 seen, 490 obtained. 4 years, I completed the Pokedex!
Yeah, I've battled myself before.
Mainly to find out which of my battle passes are better. I also do it for practise.
Sig pending.
Spoiler:- Stuffs:
ah yes, the convoluted battle against yourself, I look foward to it, I just need my pass to be more wildly known and people to like it
my FC is 2064 8570 2074m but I don't do a lot of Wi-Fi stuff

I wait in the depths for the return of the Non-Competitive Trainer's Hangout Ultimate Journey. Time is not important.
Yeah, I do it out of bordom... and to see which pokemon of mine can KO each other first. I did this to see who would KO the other first: my Garchomp or Glaceon... my Glaceon won :/
"Strong Pokemon. Weak Pokemon.
That is only the selfish perception of people.
Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites."
I've only tried it once (I don't usually play the CPU unless it's a Colosseum matchup).
It saddens me because I couldn't beat my own team.

I battle myself :P I give the CPU my best ones and try to kill them with rubbish pokemon (I lost alot though but meh)
yes,i pit a team consisting of Groudon,Kyogre,Dialga,Heatran,Regigigas, and Giratina vs. the team sitting in my sig. With me controlling the uber team. I lost. Shows how strong your team can be.
I usually battle myself when I have new Pokemon that I've only recently trained, in order to test out its ability. The teams I put together though, it doesn't matter WHAT Pokemon are on either side. The team controlled by the CPU gets destroyed. Always.
I prefer 6 on 6 myself, so that all Pokemon have a chance to participate.
I have 14 main pokemon that are all over lv. 50, most being lv.100. I face myself a lot due to this, especially against my best six pokemon. I like it when my Weavile gets into a fight with Gengar... and Feraligatr attempts to bite Magmortar's face... and my Alakazam and Hariyama are forced to work together against Gallade... and the ultimate fight occurs when Gallade, Kabutops, Scizor, and Alakazam are all on the field.
Anyway, yeah. I face myself. I beat my best a lot as well. (Type Matchups)
i used to have a save game where i had hakced pokemon with only metronome go against each other.. but my cousin started a new game on that save file ._.

THIS ISN'T A THREAD ABOUT WHETHER YOU PURPOSELY DO IT, HE MEANS BY SWITCHING FRIEND PASSES WITH SOMEONE SO YOU CAN BATTLE YOUR OWN TEAM ON WI-FI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! learn to read

Only when extremely bored, I'll choose multiplayer and battle myself.
I'm my cool guy (always) against my tough guy. If you want results on my first battle with them, go to my thread 'Weirdest PBR Battle'. I've only lost
once. It would've been easy if I didn't pick 'One-on-one battle'.

I do a lot of free battles against myself to test new pokémon on my team, sometimes I also let the CPU use my team just to see how my pokémon will be used when I'm not in charge.
I'm creating a new team, not ready for any battles.
No, I haven't... but that's an interesting concept. I'll have to try it out sometime. Thanks for the idea.
