Additional information; Jake isn't the average teen. At the age of 13 he ran away from home never turning back. He now lives in his secret base with his pokemon and wouldn't want it anyway else. Jake's parents were very abusive and didn't want Jake to even have a pokemon. During most of his time Jake would read books or go outside and befriend pokemon. However one day as Jake was having fun with a Joltik colony he befriend his dad found out and killed the colony. That night the sole survivor of the colony went to Jake for help as he was badly wounded. From that point on Jake had hid the Joltik from his parents and plotted to run away. Jake is very smart for his age and enjoys his time with his pokemon. He likes making friends and is very energetic. Jake also has the mysterious power to understand what pokemon are saying though he doesn't know why or how. This power for some reason "shuts off" in certain locations (Zones) though this is also not known why As for Jake's goals he hopes to become a master of Electric type pokemon, and getting a new electric type is always a high priority for Jake. However he still let's even non electric types onto the team as well. As of recent, Jake hasn't been much of his self. He tries to keep positive and cheerful, however deep down he feels a great deal of guilt after the murder of his father. Just hearing the word murderer causes Jake to start shaking.

Bio: Sparky is a young Joltik who befriended Jake five years ago. Sparky was the sole survivor when Jake's dad killed his colony. This past experience had for a long time affected Sparky giving him a trauma of poison types until a friendly Arbok, Ivysaur and Weedle belonging to one of Jake's friends helped him get over it. However Sparky still is nervous around poison types but that probably will just be the scar of that horrible incident. One of Sparky's favorite activities is to battle. In battle Sparky is confident and determined to take on any pokemon, even if the opponent is over twenty times his size. Sparky also likes adventures and camping, possibly due to him and Jake spending many hours outside exploring and having a good time.
Opinion on evolution; Sparky wants to evolve with a passion. He has both expressed this during adventures and in battle.

Bio: Jake got Pom during his first week at Fizzytopia where he was up for trade. Jake felt bad for the little guy and bid on him. However Jake was pretty much broke and almost didn't get Pom until a kind trainer withdrew his bid so Jake could get him. Pom for the most part is a serious pokemon that likes to train and battle. However when he deems he has done enough training he likes to spend time with his friends. Pom is one of the more calmer pokemon of the group and likes to take charge of the team if Jake isn't around. Despite this he is well liked by the team. There is one very special pokemon in Pom's heart, an Umbreon named Cyanide.
Opinion on evolution: Pom has never said that he wants to evolve or not . Whatever his opinion is he keeps it well hidden and unknown

Bio: Bubbles has changed a lot over the course of time. When Bubbles first joined Jake's team she was a total ***** to Sparky and Pom calling them her slaves and bossing them around. She eventually fell in love with a Stunfisk named Neville, but a Shuppet by the name of Myrtle had beat her to him. This caused Bubbles to go into depression and she often threatened to kill herself. After the help of a friendly Ivysaur, Bubbles became what she is today. A somewhat laid back pokemon that prefers to be alone. However Bubbles old self isn't completly gone. She still acts like a brat at times, and still doesn't like some of Jake's rules.

Bio: One day Jake was walking in Downtown Fizzytopia when he saw the pokemon adoption center. Jake was horrified when he found out that the staff had kept Telpo in a cellar because of his psychic powers and adopted him right away. Telpo for the most part is a kind pokemon who likes to make jokes. Telpo is also worried for his trainer. He's most concerned about how Jake acts, he's scared that his trainer is hiding something about his past from him and everyone else. Despite this Telpo does have problems of his own. Telpo's psychic powers aren't the best and so sometimes Telpo can't even control them properly which has caused him trouble on more then one occasion. Telpo try's to overcome this and so everyday he trains to master his psychic powers. After all he wouldn't want his psychic powers to go out of control again, especially if it were to hurt the pokemon he loves. A female Timburr named Millicent
Opinion on evolution; Abra never want's to evolve to prove to everyone and his old trainer that he can still be strong without being fully evolved or being a gimmick

Bio: Botch to say the least is a very, weird Grimer. When he's out on an adventure he likes to pretend he's a super hero, while anywhere else he's more calm and down to earth. Jake obtained Botch when he noticed that a Grimer was up for trade. Jake at first wasn't planning on bidding on the Grimer, he had recently gotten Telpo. However the idea of having a Grimer was enough to make Jake bid. Though most would usually be put off by the smell a Grimer let's off, Jake doesn't mind, he's just happy to have him on the team. Botch is quite hard to get along with others. Not because he's mean or anti-social, but because of his stubbornness. Once Botch makes up his mind it is very hard to change it. Despite this Botch was actually the first to realize Kage was actually not evil, and quickly made friends with her. At the bar, after a run in with a crystal Kabutops, Botch and the Grimer he fell in love with, Strychnine confessed their feelings for each other.
Opinion on evolution; Botch hates Muk with a passion and so he doesn't want to evolve.
