Ah man, I wouldn't be able to wait. I got 2 Gamestops that are like 2 minutes away. A Walmart in the same parking lot as one Gamestop, a best buy across the street from the other Gamestop, and a Toys R Us right next to the best buy. And my older brother drives me to them. Last year when I bought B/W at Gamestop there wasn't even a line. Pokemon must be popular in your area than.

I moved since then so I don't know how popular pokemon is here yet.

well technically you CAN rematch the leaders....just not in their Gym and not using the usual battle rules, but with the "Battle" facility rules instead.

I just saw a copy of White 2 at my local Target. I didn't get it since I already pre-ordered at Gamestop.

Just tracked my White 2 order and the estimated delivery date is the 13th BUT... it's saying that it's at the post office that's like 5 miles away from me. They better deliver my game tomorrow or Tuesday or I'm gonna be pissed.

I got to the Gamestop where I preordered my copy before they opened since I had to wait in line for 45 minutes when B/W came out and didn't want to do it again. I was the only one there, I was that guy.

Anyways, I decided to try out DW here with White 2. One of the first games I got to play was to my surprise- the drink serving game! It's renamed to "The Bistro" but you do the exact same thing as the one in Japan.

Unlike that one though, it appeared in the Cave area, and I got an Snover. ("It looks like this Pokemon is thirsty")

I've been wondering the same exact thing, hopefully it will be a high number. We should see some sort of figure soon All I know is that I contributed two purchases to whatever that number is! It would be nice if the number of sales didn't dip down too much from Black and White. To be perfectly honest, Black 2 and White 2 might be my favorite Pokemon games yet..

I have 2 questions related to pokemon news, so I hope they belong here (if not, I apologize):

1) Has there been any news of a new "Befriend a Pokemon" poll being launched in Japan? I believe that last years poll occurred in late 2011, so I believe that if it's going to be an annual contest, they should be starting it up soon.

2) Has there been any news of the Mascot poll from Japan making its way to the US or other countries? I think it's been awhile since that contest ended in Japan, so my hopes of getting the same contest in the US are dwindling.
