I'm sure a large-ish portion of the time will be dedicated to talking about past Pokemon games and how far the games have come since the 1st Generation. Then they'll probably talk about hopes for the future, which will lead into the big announcement.

And maybe another small announcement or two? Something like select Pokemon games (Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, TCG, & Pokemon Pinball) will be coming to the eShop in 2013?

As for the tweets, I wouldn't really put much stock into it. I mean, it's probably just some intern tweeting.

anyways, I'm probably the only one thinking of it this way, but after all this fuss, this has to be more than just a next gen announcement. :/ there's no need for all of this, it's not like pokemon is selling more or is getting more popular than before to hype this announcement like this.

I wouldn't be sure. We're close to the reveal day, everyone is hyped and they know it. And these questions seem too out of the blue to be just random tweets.

At least that's what I think and hope.

Gamefreak doesn't work on the side games, and considering this gathering more Hype, Promo and attention then most Main Series titles that have been released, there's not even a .00000001% chance of that happening.

Agreed. I wouldn't be entirely sure if I were you Malcolm Belmont, because if it's not you're gonna be really disappointed.

I'd love for it to be a 6 Gen announcement but I'm not going to put all my faith in it until, or unless rather they actually announce this tomorrow at Pokemon Direct.

Doubtful. The last Mystery Dungeon game just randomly popped up and was released a week later. There was barely even an announcement for it. There's noway they'd dedicate a 10 minute Nintendo Direct to a side game.

But you know, it can be only about the 6th Gen, because maybe that gen will be wastly different? That would certanly be the 'evolution' they talked about. Maybe.

Just saw the thing on Nintendo Direct and for some odd reason, I started looking for the video even though it hasn't even aired yet *facepalm*. I guess my hastiness was because of the fact that Japan is about 14 hours ahead of my time (going by the times given on an anime countdown website). So it's like 6 PM where I live, meaning 12 hours before it airs in America for my timezone XD meaning that I live in EST. So I guess this is a bonus for being an anime nerd XD As for the announcement, in a summary, my thoughts on it is that it's going to be something big or an entire letdown.

You shouldn't expect the starters yet. If I remember correctly, they're never among the first things revealed for the new generation.
