Yeah, only 20 new Pokemon when they've said before they have thousands designed. MAKES SENSE (if you don't think about it, that is). I swear some rumors are just idiotic and show little care and thought process. :/

If the person knew who Masuda is, he'll be more ready for more unexpected things. Masuda is willing to change in the series and now that he is the mastermind of alot of things, it has become easier for him.

All I'm calling at this point is a new main series game. To drum up worldwide hype for just a spin-off would be such a let down. That and after BW2, the patterns they've followed in the past are no longer a reliable way of predicting the future.
Right now my money's on the 6th gen. A new generation of pokemon is always a big announcement, and this is the biggest ever. That and this generation is almost over anyway. BW were released 2 1/2 years ago, quickly approaching 3 years like the first 2 generations.

I'd be fine with anywhere between 120 and 150. I think Ruby/Sapphire had around 130 which was a good number.

I can profess that I hope that more new Pokemon are introduced. Even in the real world we are discovering new species everyday, endless variations of fauna and flora, and I find the possibility that Game Freak is as imaginative as mother nature intriguing.

Up until now, even generations have introduced less Pokémon than odd generations.
I wouldn't be disappointed by 100 as long as they're the very best 100 they could come up with while developing the new games.
