I would cut off my hand to get Ruby/Sapphire remakes. I actually hope that's what it is, but it's more likely to be Gen VI.

I would actually say it's more likely we get RS remakes first, because I think it's too soon for 6th gen. B/W hasn't even been out for 2 and a half years yet. B/W released in late September 2010 and early March 2011.

As I've said in my previous post, if the games are going to be released this September, Gen V will be as long as Gen 2, which is 3 years long. They're just going to announce the game, not release it.

I know everyone has been high on Eevee's, but honestly, I don't think It will be the 8th evolution, or Generation 6. Look at this this way. Japan always hypes something when they're releasing something. Like the Mewtwo and Darkrai events earlier this year? They were to hype to two new TCG sets that were linked to them. V-Create Rayquaza? TO create hype in Japan for Conquest. All of this eevee hype is not leading to a new evolution, we haven't had three main entries in the series yet. Before you all argue that we have four games, games =/= entries in the series. RGBYGSC do fit this was well, despite only having three games released, (Four for Japan in Gen One), as each game had it's own sprites. Then they continued that with RSEFGLG, and DPPTHGSS. So it's hard to saw that we're getting Gen 6 when Gen 5 is only half way over. First of all, we haven't had as many spin-offs this generation, and only one from the common spin-off mainstays. Some say GF is rushing it, but they aren't. With more content then ever, they're trying to keep us attached.

Also, all of this Eevee hype is going to tie into the new Mini-movie. If I recall correctly, Meloetta was in the anime right around the same time her mini-movie was out, so why is it not the same with the eevees? Also, I think you're all forgetting that Game Freak has gotten another Color Motif back, Red and Blue. No, more specifically, Ruby and Sapphire. For everyone who watched the Smash episode today, you sure have saw all of the red and blue being used, and that each contestant in the tournament, if I recall correctly, had at least one Hoenn Pokemon. Also, remaking the sprites for the Hoenn Leaders. They could of easily have not made them, but they did. Does that hint towards something?

Also, that Pokeball. It could also refer to new Kyogre/Gorudon forms. Gamefreak seems awfully form happy lately, so it could just be that. Anyways, that's my cup of tea. Whatever it is, as long as it isn't gen 6, I'll most likely be happy.

I could think of dozens of different Kyogre/Groudon forms, but barely any for Deoxys. But it would be mega pointless for old Pokemon to get new forms.

Well correct me if im wrong.

Gen 1-2 was 3 years.

Gen 2-3 was 3 years.

Gen 3-4 was 4 years.

Gen 4-5 was 4 years.

So if its released in fall then that's 3 years so its the same as the difference between 1-2 and 2-3. So its not "too early".

Except GameFreak's got nothing left to play. There are no more hidden legendaries to release, very few Pokemon unobtainable, no anime arcs after N's. There is nothing saying that they must extend Gen V out for another pair of games, not even your own tortured logic in this regard.

Red and blue are the colors of Democrats and Republicans. Contestants used Hoenn Pokemon because they wanted to.

You're looking for meaning in patterns and coincidences where none exists.

Because they'd look like sh*t if they reused the old ones. They also redid the Sinnoh Leader sprites, but no one's crying out for DPPt remakes.

Yeah Unova is pretty much done, meaning a new region is possible. Maybe the Original Dragon can be explained there but then again not everything needs to be explained.

It's not often that we get an international announcement though. I believe the last time we got it was when Black and White 2 was unveiled.

and thats the sparkle on the minimovie's last word, when all of the words seem to represent an eevee evolution.

I say its going to be a poision type eeveelution because the color of that last japanese letter is purple.
