Not really. I played all Gen III games. Hoenn is not that much larger than Kanto. It just looks large because of all the water routes.

So the game starts with you returning from chasing down N for someone or something. And when you arrive cue the Plasma ruled Unova an story thing. Then the RSE remakes follow your chase for N.

Plus putting it in today's graphics would make it seem even bigger.

Size itself isn't really a problem, it's more how many unique textures the game has that determine filesize. For example, a gigantic game like skyrim is only 5gig on the pc.

Johto and Kanto are small. Unova is gigantic. Hoenn is medium-sized.

Here's another idea: BW2 take place in tandem with BW. The player starts out after Player/Cheren/Bianca leave on their journey and kinda trail them throughout the game. As the BW main character and N square off with Reshiram and Zekrom in N's castle, the battlers realise their conflict won't be decisive like they had thought, leaving the BW2 main character to chase after Kyurem to save the day. The Light/Dark stone can determine the form Kyurem takes.

I know there are holes in this idea, but it is only speculation at this point.

The whole point of a remake is that it has the same story as the original game. If it has a new story it's just a game SET in Hoenn not a remake.

Fan-names. Main site says they're called Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. So far anything beyond what Black Kyurem and White Kyurem look like and the titles "Black 2" and "White 2" is speculation.

But they are all small with not much activity except for the trainers. The towns were sometimes almost as small as Nuvema Town or Pallet Town.

Stacks the problem that a reigon that is decently sized cannot fit with a huge reigon due to DS memory.

Was really surprised and shocked for it to be called "Pokémon Black 2" and Pokémon White 2". I doubt ANYONE even thought of that happening!

I wonder what's gonna happen...
-Can the game detect your Pokémon Black and/or White 1 save files, and transfer things you've done in that game to PB/W 2?
-How will the game start out now that you have become the E4 Champion?
-Are Black/White the main characters again, or is there another person, preferrably a person named Grey to at least make some people happy, because Black/White are now E4 Champs?
-If Black/White aren't the Champions, does Marshal, or another of the E4, replace Alder because of his sickness?
-How much time has past since we started this journey?
-Team Plasma is no more, but is there a secret division that's more diabolical?
-How does the plot revolve around Kyurem this time?
-ARE SKYLA, ELESA, and CYNTHIA STILL YOUNG AND SEXY??!!

I would like these questions answered, especially the last one!!
Still, I'm super excite for this game!!
