Who misses RSE and Hoenn?!

I really, really miss R/S/E, partially because of nostalgic reasons. At the time R/S came out I used to know lots of people who played those games, so I was able to trade and battle (over gamecube as well) nearly every day, which was even more fun than today, because I was just a kid back then I also started to discover all the interesting things in pokemon games at this time (shiny pokemon for example), so I was pretty much excited about everything. Therefore, I not only miss R/S/E, but I also want gamefreak to make remakes of Ruby and Sapphire as soon as possible. I hope they've already started making their first projects ^^

I loved Emerald version, so yeah I do miss it (even though I still do playthroughs sometimes lol) and I would absolutely love a remake if it ever happens. But only if it was for Emerald, not for Ruby/Saphire like they did with HG/SS (I loved HG/SS because Silver is my all time favorite, but Ruby/Saphire can't compare to Emerald).

Man Oh man I miss these games so much first off they were my first pokemon games and they have been my favorite to this date. I really Hope they actually remake emerald because emerald was wayyy better then r/s

I think I have over 500 hours logged into my Sapphire cartridge. Even so, I would play a remake.

I like Hoenn. It was not as good as Johto but still, I spent very good times there. My favorite legendaries are there, the weather trio, Jirachi, Lati@s. It's the only Fire/Fight starter I actaully don't mind to use and IMO the best water-type starter both in battle and in personal preference.

To the OP, I think you're exaggerating a bit about Sinnoh... the most overused Pokémon of all time, Garchomp, is from Sinnoh. So, Bastiodon is not really a good example... It's my 3rd favorite region after Johto and Hoenn.

But I'd like to see a remake, maybe for a next gen.

Hoenn is awesome, and I have so many fond memories of playing Ruby, but I can't really miss it, I can play it anytime! I loved the fresh feeling of Hoenn, and playing Ruby for the first time, and I get nostalgic over those memories, but I can't miss something that is still there and can't go away.! Gen III was and is amazing, and brought so much to Pokemon and some features that were left behind(Bases? ANYONE?). So here's hoping we get remakes, and we have R/S/E to tide us over until then!

I do it was my first region with sapphire being my first ever Pokemon game. If they make a remake (and by God I hope they do) they can add so much more to it. It was interesting with its rain forest, sea and desert mixture and if they add more areas and functions to it it would be AMAZING to play. I still feel that Hoenn has so much to give to the Pokemon world and remakes could unleash its full potential!

I loved my Sapphire game. I spent nearly 400 hours on it until the internal battery ran dry, and I finished my Hoenn pokedex, and made sure every pokemon I had caught was at least at level 30. Then I aimed for 40.

I don't really like the remakes, because it feels like you're playing the exact same game, and that's no fun, you've already done it.
What they need is to have a game where you can pick which region you start at, then work your way through all of them, like in the 2nd generation, going to Kanto after Johto.

yeah. I traded it in because I needed money for Christmas presents. but I miss it and will prob buy it again if there isnt a remake. It was my fav region. The newer ones r ok and I like wifi battles, but it's not the same.

If they made a Hoenn remake with all of the new gadgets and whatzits they have in B/W and HG/SS, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
Hoenn needs a remake and a nice polish to go with the other games.
