Who misses RSE and Hoenn?!

well the games and anime were interesting but i don't miss it.
Even though the games and anime were WAY better than sinnoh.

I definitely do - It was my favorite region, especially because the games were much more different than the previous games (as in between the set, Red v. Blue, etc.)

I also loved it because they were the first pokemon games that my friends played, so I finally had someone to battle with.

The 3rd generation was the best and the end of good pokemon.
Let's have a look at the 4th Generation, shall we?
1. Terrible, Vomit-Inducing evolutions to perfectly good pokemon. I mean, SERIOUSLY? , , To name a few
2. Long, unimaginative, boring storylines.
3. Ugly and unimaginative pokemon.
4. Uneeded Drama and touch screen


And the 5th generation, better, but not quite as good
1. Plain bad pokemon.
2. Storyline that leaves people scratching their heads.

BUT on the bright side:
1. Actual use of the touch screen
2. Imaginative pokemon
3. Moving sprites!

I miss Emerald's Battle Frontier, and I enjoyed the game much more then 4th gen.

Hoenn is my Fav Region so yes I do miss it. But I have bought Emerald recently so I have it to play

No, not really.
Of course, that's due to my recent playthrough of Emerald a couple of months ago. In fact, I've yet to catch the Regi Trio on that particular Emerald file.

The music was fantastic I always found. The environments were colourful and had depth.

The pokemon were great, some of my favourites are from Hoenn.

I still have my Emerald cartridge which I play periodically - I find it difficult to enjoy the 2d's look, when we've been spoiled with 4th & 5th gen.

I don't get your hating on the 4th gen =/ I found that pretty awesome tbh. Too point oit some of your arguments, 3rd gen didn't have a real awesome storyline as well, one team that wants more earth and one that wants more water.. The only real awesome storyline in my opinion is the one from black/white.
Also I found pokemon like Arceus and Darkrai one of the most epic pokemon.

3rd gen was fun, but I think because I beat that game around 10x in total when I was bored, I played it to much.
I recently started it all over just to beat the story and get me an extra set of the regi's. And well, I've played every pokemon since the release (Except for FR/LG) and I find Black/White the most awesome.

And in my opinion I don't think a remake is necesary already.

Yes, it was my favorite generation, I loved Hoenn. Though assuming the pattern I noticed in the release dates is correct, We'll be getting Hoenn remakes real soon! I'll make a thread explaining that pattern a little later, so don't ask for it here.
