Also you do not need confirmation of your taught moves if you post a link to it. I generally use This Pokedex.

I've decided to give the Casino a try. There's not much to do when you're starting off and there aren't many people around.

I would go the Phantom Isle but... none of my pokemon have any attacks that'll work against ghost pokemon. Plus... I don't like ghost and haunted places... I like ghost pokemon but I don't want to go to the haunted Theme Park..... it scares me... Both me and my trainer persona.

I'm crossing my fingers that by March when I can adopt a pokemon again that those Squirtles are still there... Because it's the only water pokemon there. And I'll need it when I start my fire pokemon hunt... If I could catch just one pokemon, I would be getting Fire Core eggs every two weeks... until I get a party of six and I'm force to get a PC my getting Charm to level 50... So many things to do but it feel like I'm never going to get there. We'll see, I guess.

Lol, see, I/my trainer persona has an immense fear of fire. So rather than brave the fire area of Bulbagarden, I have adopted a Torchic! That way I have a fire-type without that hassle!

Also, in terms of the haunted theme park, Swinub knows Odor Sleuth and Bite. I am set, mah friend. xP

It's generally fine to teach Pokémon moves in those ways regardless of whether or not they can actually learn them. I've been able to teach Dark Void to my Qwilfish in such a manner.
